This is not our first visit, however we have used the range on this occasion also hired a cart the prices very reasonable, reception and assistance from the pro shop staff was excellent, members we came in contact with very friendly and helpful. Course conditions were (good) some mats in use all as expected for this time of the year some greens slower than other.There were plenty of other golfers but the pace of play was very good.The experience on this occasion was the same as previous visits an excellent day looking forward to future visits.
Walk down memory lane
Not played here for 20 years. So first round back was great to see the course maturing. Well worth a look
Fabulous course
Beedles is a fabulous course in great condition with really friendly staff.
Flat
Staff were very friendly and helpful, Greens were absolutely superb, very good condition,
Just thought the course was a bit boring, nice and flat, if you don't like hills perfect course to play,
Pleasant Round
Course has improved quite a bit since I last played there 18 months ago. Greens were in good condition, bunkers had good sand in as opposed to being filled with stones like many other courses. Fairways and Tee boxes were also good.
Clubhouse drunks
Played a Friday night twilight at a price of £13. Course was in a decent condition, greens were a little slow for my liking. Had a buggy behind who we encourage to play in front of us on the first tee to which they said no then hit a shot onto a green we were putting on!! Besides the poor course etiquette which, to be fair wasn’t so bad after they did that, the biggest issue was the clubhouse after. This is the second time we have played and been for a drink after and had it ruined by a large group of youthful drunks treating the bar as a nightclub! The noise they were creating was ridiculous and the swearing at the top of their voices equally ridiculous. We swiftly drank up and left and can only hope the club recouped the obvious loss of revenue from other perturbed clubhouse visitors from the these obnoxious groups. Almost ruined what was an enjoyable round.
Great round
Playing a two ball and arrived early, quite a few four balls waiting on first tee so started on the 10th. Good decision as no one round us and could play at a relaxed pace as the weather hotted up. Course in great condition with rakes back in bunkers. Lovely cold beer after in the air conditioned club house. Great value with the £15 hot deal. Some good bargains in the pro- shop as well.
