Beedles Lake Golf Centre

Played a Friday night twilight at a price of £13. Course was in a decent condition, greens were a little slow for my liking. Had a buggy behind who we encourage to play in front of us on the first tee to which they said no then hit a shot onto a green we were putting on!! Besides the poor course etiquette which, to be fair wasn’t so bad after they did that, the biggest issue was the clubhouse after. This is the second time we have played and been for a drink after and had it ruined by a large group of youthful drunks treating the bar as a nightclub! The noise they were creating was ridiculous and the swearing at the top of their voices equally ridiculous. We swiftly drank up and left and can only hope the club recouped the obvious loss of revenue from other perturbed clubhouse visitors from the these obnoxious groups. Almost ruined what was an enjoyable round.

Playing a two ball and arrived early, quite a few four balls waiting on first tee so started on the 10th. Good decision as no one round us and could play at a relaxed pace as the weather hotted up. Course in great condition with rakes back in bunkers. Lovely cold beer after in the air conditioned club house. Great value with the £15 hot deal. Some good bargains in the pro- shop as well.

Played on a Saturday afternoon which was very busy as there was a competition in front of us. Booked a 2 ball through Golf Now, and were paired with another 2 ball, which wasn’t that clear at the time of booking. That aside, the other pair we played with were good company and we enjoyed the round

Great course, I think we will play it better the 2nd time as there are ditches etc that caught us out,

But very good and we all said best course played for a long while,

Will definitely play there again.

Lovely course to get out and play after a long lay off. Always in brilliant condition this time of year I just hope the can maintain it through July when it tends to go a bit firm and brown. , the course was understandably busy so pace of play being a bit slow was inevitable. Overall really enjoyable day and very impressed with the course
