About
Bentham Golf Course is situated in the Three Peaks area of North Yorkshire and has stunning scenery of Ingleborough and the surrounding hills. Often referred to as the 'Augusta of The Dales', Bentham Golf Course is a beautiful parkland course with tree lined fairways, multiple lakes and lush fairways. The course welcomes golfers of all abilities, offering an enjoyable round to less experience players and a challenge to those lower handicappers. The signature hole of the course is the par 3 10th that has you look down from an elevated tee to a tempting green which lies just on the other side of a stone walled pond.
The venue offers a great drink selection and some catering in the clubhouse which makes it the perfect place to enjoy a post-round drink and watch fellow golfers complete their round from the patio over looking the 18th. There is a pro shop on site too which is fully stocked with the latest brands and apparel, where custom club fitting is available. There is also a driving range and new practice chipping area under construction ready for the 2021 season. The course is home to Wenningdale Escapes who have on offer luxury glamping pod and lodge stays. These can be booked for a family holiday or for a golfing getaway.

Great value
The couse is interesting and compact. The views are fabulous of Ingleborough. The driving range was a good addition. The club house was smart and good outside space to sit in the sun. Excellent day out
Bentham Golf Club
An excellent days golf and great value for money. Challenging and well cared for course. Greens good and fairways pretty good, although some retained a lot of moisture. Still enjoyed it and will return
The course was in excellent condition even after two days of heavy rain prior. There was a good variety of features. The greens were fairly quick. The only minor groan was the walk between green and next tee on some of the holes
Lovely setting and very well presented.
Excellent course exceptionally well maintained, super and true greens with great views of the surrounding area. A golf course we'll suited for every level of golfer.
Great views
Booked on the spur of the moment and so glad we did! Amazing views of the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District ,well worth the vist,staff and members very welcoming and the course was in great condition and well laid out. We didn't have time to eat at the clubhouse but we will give it a go next time as we will definitely be returning soon.

Good but bad timing
This is the first time I have played here,I was impressed with the pro shop staff,very helpful and when my trolley broke down hired an electric one for a great price. The course is very interesting and well looked after generally, obviously weather and time of year means most courses are preparing for winter and they have started tinning and sanding which made putting a lottery on most greens, however what I will say looking at the care of the course and the 18th green it is clear that the greens at any other time of year would be very good. Very few bad things to say some stunning views on the hills and surrounding countryside are there all around this course, the weather was nice and bright with reasonable warmth. Overall thoroughly enjoyed the round,also had a drink and a sausage butty which was great in the clubhouse which was very nice, the facilities I used were excellent. I will return next year to play this course again.
