Play here every easter time. Weather can be mixed and the course had been shut a few times prior to our day of play. Had no need to worry as the course was immaculate and dries out pretty quickly. Staff and members always very welcoming which adds to the overall brilliant experience. Views to die for.

We had a great round at Kirkby Lonsdale Golf Club. The weather was perfect, slightly cool and sunny with a fresh breeze. The course was in tip-top condition and there were very few other golfers on the day we played. Excellent countryside views from every hole......The golf pro is very friendly and the practice facilities are good. All clubhouse staff are very friendly and accomodating. We strongly recommend this venue.

Played it a few times always enjoyed the golf and in a great setting.

Played on a Friday lunch time in February. Very nice coffee, bacon and egg baps to start with. Deserted course which was in remarkably good condition. Picturesque ‘Dales’ scenery and interesting variety of dog legs and aig zags

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed playing at Kirkby Lonsdale. Bearing in mind the amount of rain that had recently fallen the fairways were in good condition. The greens had been cored and dressed, so putting was a lottery, but we didn’t let this spoil our round. The scenery was wonderful.

It is an attractive clubhouse. The lunchtime menu / food was good and everybody was friendly. We would love to play the course again in the Spring / Summer.

Fourball set off 20 minutes in front of us a three ball caught them up by the fifth hole.

They proceeded to lose two holes on the fourball in front of them and at no stage did they ever offer to let us play through with other groups pushing up on us.

4hour 35mins should have been 3hour 30mins

Played in an open here at the end of August after a quite dry period followed by a little rain. The course conditions were fantastic with the fairways still feeling comfortably soft underfoot. Very challenging course layout making you think about shots rather than just hitting the driver.

The greens were challenging with lots of undulations, playing fast but very consistent through all the greens.

Views of the Lake District and Yorkshire 3 Peaks are absolutely stunning.

Facilities are excellent, nice driving range, pro shop and bar area with very friendly and welcoming staff.

Definitely coming back and worth recommending!
