Sedbergh Golf Club

This course is well worth playing, it's in excellent condition, the greens run true and the scenery is beautiful.

The staff are also very friendly and helpful, the food and drinks are reasonably priced....highly recommended!

Really enjoyed our round at Sedbergh on Saturday.

We had a sausage bun on arrival which was lovely along with a Latte.

Then it was time to golf!

The course was in great condition and greens were good.

Sedbergh is such a pretty course and quite challenging.

We enjoyed every minute.

At the end of the round we called in the clubhouse for food and were not disappointed.

My husband had rack of lamb and I had wild mushroom stroganoff, foliowed by Rhubarb Crumble & Custard.

The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

Course was well maintained, and really picturesque, but the greens were the slowest we’ve ever been on. Very challenging for hackers, you play the back 9 from different tee positions onto the same greens as the front 9, until you get to the 17th and 18th which are no where near the 16th green. Took us a while to find it, it’s about half a mile away, with no sign posts, really difficult to understand what was going on having never played there before. Well worth a visit though if you like a challenge.

Food and drinks were really good inside the club house.

The fairways and greens were in excellent condition and the staff very friendly. Can’t recommend this course enough I’ll definitely be having another round the next time I visit the lakes.

First time playing this course and we were not disappointed .From first tee to the last tee this course was fantastic, you have to really think about your shots on this course you can’t just hit the ball hard you need to really think about where to place the ball. This golf course is a five star course all day long couldn’t fault it we will be back soon.

This is a great little course, in really good condition for early April, after all the rain we've had over the winter.

There's a fair bit of water to negotiate whilst playing, quite a few ponds and a fast flowing river.

The scenery is beautiful, typical British countryside, it was a pleasure to walk it.

The greens were in good nick, with a true roll when putting.

The clubhouse is nice, very cosy and welcoming.

I'll look forward to playing here again.

Very quirky course with great features and beautiful views

We drove 90 miles to Sedbergh and it was definitely worth the trip. The course was in great condition, greens and fairways were immaculate. Despite some shortish holes this is not an easy course by any means and will give most golfers a good test of golf. If you can avoid the very punishing rough and the river that crosses several holes then you will probably score well. Definitely worth another visit.

It has been a few years since we played Sedbergh and the course layout has changed with some holes added.

the new holes have improved the course, we shall return.

Beautiful course on sunny day. Some epic views. Robo mowers are cool.

We really enjoyed our day front nine excellent condition for this time of year back nine holes as it’s two JT pints of nine holes could do with slightly better signposting as are a little confusing but never the less a good day out. Will go again when w have chance

After hearing that Sedbergh was good in winter, we made the trip from Lancaster in search of some semi-decent winter golf. The course was in phenomenal condition, fairways and greens as pure as some courses in summer. Great views, plenty of variety in holes. A good mix of long and short holes make for a true test!

Varied and scenic course. Quite soft but well cared for. Friendly welcome and food in clubhouse excellent.

Played today in September. Course was in good condition but quite soft. Some challenging holes where accuracy is essential. Views spectacular and varied. Nice clubhouse with excellent home made food which I would highly recommend. Well worth a visit.
