Little gem
We drove 90 miles to Sedbergh and it was definitely worth the trip. The course was in great condition, greens and fairways were immaculate. Despite some shortish holes this is not an easy course by any means and will give most golfers a good test of golf. If you can avoid the very punishing rough and the river that crosses several holes then you will probably score well. Definitely worth another visit.
Round 1 of 2 trip
It has been a few years since we played Sedbergh and the course layout has changed with some holes added.
the new holes have improved the course, we shall return.
Beautiful views
Beautiful course on sunny day. Some epic views. Robo mowers are cool.
Excellent little course
We really enjoyed our day front nine excellent condition for this time of year back nine holes as it’s two JT pints of nine holes could do with slightly better signposting as are a little confusing but never the less a good day out. Will go again when w have chance
Hidden Gem
After hearing that Sedbergh was good in winter, we made the trip from Lancaster in search of some semi-decent winter golf. The course was in phenomenal condition, fairways and greens as pure as some courses in summer. Great views, plenty of variety in holes. A good mix of long and short holes make for a true test!
Lovely Views
Varied and scenic course. Quite soft but well cared for. Friendly welcome and food in clubhouse excellent.
Wonderful setting
Played today in September. Course was in good condition but quite soft. Some challenging holes where accuracy is essential. Views spectacular and varied. Nice clubhouse with excellent home made food which I would highly recommend. Well worth a visit.
Great course. Don't be fooled by the 9 hole status this course is challenging and has everything. The back 9 varies considerably with tee positions etc. A good variety of par 3,4,5s
Very friendly staff and usefull info as it was the first time here.
We will be back !!
Lovely course in the dales
Really enjoyed playing Sedbergh, third time I’ve played it’s just getting better every time, the new holes 17th & 18th second time around are a great addition. Some really hard holes depending on the wind, greens and fairways are excellent 👍 2nd and 5th holes are belters 😁🫣. Clubhouse is amazing and the staff are really friendly and helpful. If I lived closer I would join here.
Gem
This course is a hidden gem. Extremely well maintained course and well presented. Very picturesque with surrounding hills and river
Great golf course
Great course in really good condition. The river creates an interesting challenge!
A gem in the hills
The course was in incredible condition considering the recent weather. The views are spectacular. We will be back
Great little challenging course
Played on a sunny and hot day , course was in pretty good condition , a little bumpy on the greens, but not bad. Quite hilly which made for an interesting round. 10 holes but tee conditions that make a difference although can be a little confusing when it's your first time round. Pace was a little slow as people on front / back 9 crossed over but overall very enjoyable and will definitely return!
What an amazingly beautiful course in top condition
One of the prettiest courses I’ve played this year, a total gem!
What a little gem of a course
What a lovely find! Great little course with stunning scenery. Lots of challenges made for a fun round. We visited twice during our golf holiday and will definitely come back, ate in the restaurant, lovely food and friendly staff.
