Shocking!!
I was really looking forward to playing this course and on arrival the pro said that they were working on some of the greens when we got there but he said they should be fine for when we got to them we’ll they weren’t we had to play on 7! Temporary Greens if that’s what you can call them it was a hole in the fairway and some of the holes you couldn’t see unless you were looking down on them overall not impressed and won’t be rushing back
Excellent condition
First time but definitely won’t be the last. Course was in excellent condition given the recent heat and greens where true and fair. Golf pro and bar staff very helpful and welcoming.
Great course
We are currently in the hottest dry spell for years so as expected the course was very dey. They have taken action on the fairways to prevent long term damage to the course. The greens are in excellent condition. There are many interesting and challenging holes where local knowledge is an advantage. I really enjoyed the round and course
Great layout, friendly clubhouse & a good test
A warm welcome by the pro - good start.
Lovely day and course was in good condition (despite some obvious work being done to fairways & drains). Greens rolled very true and the whole place looks delightful with ponds, flowering bushes and a few ducks and swans swimming about.
Tricky course with some long par 4’s. A real good test
Thoroughly enjoyed the round!!

Really enjoyed our first experience of booking with Golf Now.com. Very efficient.
Birchwood was a really well developed course, with some really long holes, with nice water hazards and well developed trees. The captain introduced himself to me and my partner at the end of the round, really friendly club-house. Will play again. - Paul
