Flixton Golf Club

I booked online for a tee off time of just after 08:00. When I got there the shop/reception was closed. I could not get to the golf course as you need a code to enter through the gate, I never received any information about this on my confirmation email on my booking. Eventually I got someone else to let me in, I then starting to play. After hitting the ball in the wrong direction a few times due to not having any information on the course direction aa the reception was still closed, I then proceeded to find where I next tee off from once finishing a hole. As you can imagine my game was not the best. What's the point of booking a certain time only to find it's not open to go in at that time!

Very nice 10 hole 18 tee course, good conditions with fairly fast greens. Staff were very helpful and welcoming both in the pro shop and bar. Would recommend to everyone.

A nine hole course with different Tee & Green for Hole 17 & 18.

True fast greens, maintained fairways and magnificent environment.

Always welcomed at reception and friendly lots around to pair with and play along.

Definately recommended.

Was a lovely coarse. I'm a 25 handicapped so this coarse was ideal. Quite short holes with wide fairways.Might be a bit easy for a low handicapper.

We booked Flixton GC as it was the first time my Brother in Law had played golf on a "proper' course. Brilliant choice as it is the friendliest welcome I've had. Alison was so helpful and the course was in great condition. The greens were evenly paced and the fairways in excellent condition. Friendly clubhouse for a drink after too. Definitely highly recommended.

2nd time at Flixton and was pleasantly surprised at the great course conditions for the time of the year. Considering the large amounts of rainfall in the last 4 months the greens and fairways were in fabulous condition. Really enjoyable round.

Great Course in excellent firm condition for the time of year. Ended up playing with a friendly member who was down as a single on the tee time before us which really helped us navigate. Shop wasn’t open for score card, but everyone in the group used a watch to record so not the end of the world. Looking forward to visiting again.

Had a great time playing this course for the first time. It was cold and wet but the conditions were very good despite this.

Tee layout was a bit confusing due to temporary tees and repair work but this was not a big gripe considering the time of year!

A really enjoyable course, and friendly to the high handicapper!

Awesome place to play, well looked after course, some challenging holes, fast greens, nice area, the committee there have done a wonderful job,

Played 9 holes at this course on Sunday with a couple of friends. All high handicappers and only just picking clubs back up after 7-8yrs out of playing. Course played well with a few tricky holes. Only nine holes but has differing tee boxes for if you were to play a full 18 holes. This was especially noticeable on he 8th with a blind tee shot but was a good challenge albeit due to a raised bank right in front of the tees meant it was especially difficult to keep a track of drives.

Stuck behind 2 people who don’t understand “avoid slow play” but weather was good and didn’t spoil the round.

Excellent golf course greens absolutely superb credit to the Greenkeepers from a ex greenkeeper.

What a great course this is, flat & easy walking but long & difficult course.

Have done great having as much variety on a 9 hole course with 10 greens & some tee boxes that change the hole drastically (1&10, 8&17 in particular)

This course is only a nine hole course but you play twice back nine some different tee boxes but most the same the course was in amazing condition can’t fault it , when I arrived went to pro shop and was greeted by I think the club captain shuck my hand introduced himself and was very friendly then someone showed me to the first tee and gave me a few pointers about the course seriously can’t fault the place and the staff will definitely be back to play again this course is a must play 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♂️

Booked a tee time on this course for 9:53 when we arrived the course was closed. They didn’t email or ring to let me know it would be closed for the day also posted nothing on their website or social media saying the course was closed. Was unable to get in contact with anyone at the club to find out what was going on. Disappointing as the courses looked great.

Great golf course, would 100% recommend to a friend. Played last Friday evening with a friend.

Nice clubhouse with friendly staff and a very well kept golf course with excellent greens that was nestled away off of a main road.

My only minor complaint was that the tee colours weren't super clear where the yellow had faded and no map on the scorecard for simpletons (like me) to navigate our way at times! Can't complain otherwise though and look forward to playing it again sometime.

Brought a couple of friends to Flixton as I've played a few times and never been disappointed.

Really impressed, again. Course in good condition and facilities great. Enjoyed a couple of drinks in the clubhouse after the round.

Big recommend.
