Good day, long course some really nice holes, fairways are in good condition, the greens are a little rough here and there, but excellent value for money, will defp play again.

Staff very friendly and a decent cheap breakfast. Course layout was good but the tee boxes were pretty poor but the course is massively let blown but the greens, bordering on unplayable.

Great course, very scenic and nice wide fairways, fun challenging course, great for beginners and experienced players. Shame about the greens, they are in awful condition, they are very sandy, dry and bobbly, the ball bobbles all the way to the hole when putting. The tees are also not very well signposted.

We did have a lovely day tho and very worth the £14 hot deal we got to play here.

I enjoy playing this course but the greens need to improve to make this a really enjoyable experience

I find the course challenging. I have only played 8 courses. The 8th,hole is.a challenge because of the water.

If you miss the fair way. The rough can dense. The signage around the course is good. The tees and greens could do with improving.

I will be coming back to play.

Looking for somewhere cheap to take my son out for practice and it fitted that purpose, but greens were horrendous and tee boxes were uncut and patchy, in August this should be the course at its best.

Ok if you’re just going out to hit a few balls

Friendly staff. No range or putting surface. Greens in great condition. Tee boxes and fairways could do with some water. OK round.

Average course but reasonable value as only £20 per round. Quite an open course and not overly challenging. Greens left a lot to be desired- a bit patchy and puts didn’t always roll straight due to the patchiness

The course is very exposed and can be really windy. The fairways were in poor condition with lots of bare lies and the greens were similar. Overall a bit disappointing.

Not the best green conditions compared to some other local courses but not as bad as some people had told me and it was still a nice course to play. Rough is thick so punishes wayward shots.

Staff were extremely nice and polite - Would definitely recommend to friends.

Good course and good value ; greens could be a lot better.

I played blakes many years ago and as a round was £10 thought I would give it a go and see what it is like. The course was empty with nobody ahead of us which was probably the only real good thing about the course. The fairways were okay but the greens were terrible. They were very patchy dry and extremely bumpy which made putting a lottery on the green.

I feel they are letting the course run down and any money they get from the course is a bonus.

Played here with my son, both single figure handicaps, both enjoyed the layout as there are quite a few testing and good holes but unfortunately the greens are terrible, we would definitely revisit but only if the greens were better!
