Delightful afternoon of golf
Nice course with good practice facilities including driving range.
Great course
I started playing golf again last year been working my way round all the clubs loaclly to me which is alot and out of 10+ ive played bletchingley is my first choice now. not to hilly like surrey national or reigate hill drainage is amazing well kept course cant praise it enough. I will be joining this club in the future.
pleasant evening stroll
Very friendly welcome, course in good condition. only criticism is lack of parking as a lot of car park used to store Mercedes.
Good couses to play
Enj round golf there would play again with friends lots walking to nxt tee off time but longer 4 n half hour round golf nice weather
A tough walk
The course was OK, not a hidden gem but decent for a knock. Playing quite a few holes up and down the hill near the clubhouse caused a few achy legs, but the holes on the flatter areas where very nice. Par 3 17th was the pick of the short holes. 18 was a good, tough home hole. Greens were in good condition for early November.
Outside clubhouse areas were a bit scruffy near air guns for shoe cleaning. No towels provided in changing room in case a shower was wanted. Bar was an odd mix of cafe style/club house bar. Overall 6/10.
Very dry
Course is suffering from the dry spell, fairways extremely dry, greens look like they could do with a lot more water to avoid serious damage. That said they are still running true
Great course - Excellent value for money
Love the course layout, has the best drainage of any course in the south east , this course is open 365, and the greens are good.
We played yesterday and like 99% of all the courses in England all the fairways are parched and bone dry, and the ball was traveling miles ! I have never hit a 300+ yard drive before !
Greens are watered and overall in excellent condition.
The staff are very friendly and helpful especially Peter in Pro shop .
Highly recommend this course to anyone both low or high handicap
fair ways very dry but that can't be helped by the lovely weather we have had so the ball bounces a lot and travels very fast. Also on the day we played there was an Society of 80 people in front of us so took 6 and a half hours.
Good greens. bad bunkers
All in the title really, bunkers very inconsistent, some plenty of sand, some pretty bare lies. Greens good, rest of course fine. Very good staff in bar/catering.
Have played this course many times in the past (used to work fairly close to Bletchingly) so know it quite well. Worth a visit - good layout, fairly hilly, though could do with a chainsaw being wielded on 17th par 3; overgrowth of trees impinging on shot from tee, making virtually no gap to go thru'.
Worth the visit
Course currently in excellent condition changes since I last played it several years ago have markedly improved drainage
A well Kept Secret
A nice unhurried round of golf with a lovely chat with some members at the 1st tee. We were made to feel very welcome by staff and members alike. Lovely views and a bit of wildlife on the course. It can get a bit hilly in one or two places but a well laid out course. there was a bit of mud between some of the holes but that was beside one of the lakes and there had just been 50 golfers that had gone through so not unexpected. It would be nice if they raked the bunkers. The fairways were dry considering it had rained and all in all a lovely course. PS. The food is great in the clubhouse.
Bletchingly golf club
Lovely golf course. Good mixture of different length fairways of varying difficulty. Enjoyed playing even in the pouring rain.
Nice course. As first time here found layout a bit tricky but managed to find my way round OK. Course conditions all good nicely prepared fairways bunkers and greens. Overall very good and would play again.
