Very strange course

The layout of this course is truly horrendous. They’ve squeezed 18 holes on what should be a 9 hole. Crossing fairways, hitting up towards opposing greens, this course had everything you don’t want. Won’t be back.

Top course, top greens!

Great course, great value for money. Not too many imperfections, looks like the rain has helped.

Greens are in top shape at the moment. And £30 for a 9.50am tee time, great value.

Navigation nightmare

Picturesque course in good condition. Downside is navigation around the holes, no signs to the next tee, scorecard map is different to the course as holes have been moved around so on several occasions we got lost and required assistance from other players which made us look slow which is not normally the case. Disappointing!

Although the course was in fairly good condition, the experience was pretty awful. Signage parts of the course was abysmal/non existent. wamdered around for over 15 minutes trying to find the 15th tee. askesd two groups who were also playing who also had no idea. Finished the round at 5 ish and visited the bar. was told pipes were being cleaned however would be served in 5 minutes. waited 15 and was told would be a further couple of minutes. after a further 10 minutes chased again to be told would be readly shortly. would defiately not visit this course again.

Chipstead Golf Club

I live in the Battersea Area, I chose this course due to the proximity to chipstead train station (5 minute walk to the course). The layout is very confusing and there is minimal signage. The course itself is very hilly with many blind summits but the greens were very pure. I went on a Sunday and it was very quiet, I did not do any waiting. There were 2 putting greens and 2 nets for some practice before I teed off. Overall I would rate the experience a 6.3/10.

Great condition for time of year, let down by poor signage after course remodel

Course in really good condition. Excellent fairways and true greens, which is hard to achieve in November! However since the course remodel my garmin watch didn't pick up the correct GPS leading me to be blind from hole 9 on wards. No signage of next tee let this course down. Plus a confusing 17/18 made the remodel less desirable than before. Plus bar was shut due to catering switchover.

If you wanna play golf and know where you are going this short 18 hole course is worth it....

Just a par 3 course

Course layout terrible so many greens you cannot see hit and hope, with the 10th now to become a par 3 due to wayward shots by the members hit a house all the time that will now be 7 par 3s what a joke of a course, got there at 10.45 and ordered a breakfast to be told the kitchen does not open until 11.30 ( you must be having a laugh ) terrible day out will not visit again, who in there right mind would pay nearly 1700 pa to join this pit.

Lovely course

Had to pull away after 9 holes as did the gentleman in front of me, course was held up by 2 elderly gentleman infant who had no intention of allowing playing through,

Still I will return. Just a shame.

Challenging hilly course.

On paper seems an easy course but it is actually really challenging as the North side lays on a big slope.

When played, the conditions of the fairways were optimal but the greens had had better days. There had just been punched and sanded. I'll be back soon when greens are how they're supposed to be.

Give it a try.

Nice course

A very nice course which was well kept. A few too many par 3s for my liking but enjoyable nevertheless. Only downside is that the tees are close to the greens so you have to be careful of wayward shots.
