I played this course today, the pace was really slow, a few sets of kids were playing ahead of me, they let me through eventually, then I got caught behind a 4 ball and then a really slow 2 ball. I’m not sure whether the tee times need spreading out more or I was just unlucky on the day.
I wasn’t too happy about the number of par 3s, there is 11 in total and I think 6 in a row. Had I known beforehand I wouldn’t have booked it.
Course was in ok condition, lots of pitch marks on the greens but that’s down to the players!
Great little course
Great little course to get round in a few hours after work..you can see they are maintaining and improving the course a lot more now which is great …pleasant round with the weather nice too 👍
Boldmere
Only thing that lets boldmere down is the pace of play. End up waiting on every hole but good sign it’s popular.
Good starter course
Decently well kept starter course for any budding golfers, some challenging holes but most fairways good size
Could do better
The greens were awful…. I know it’s a council site but they really should be better… it was nice and reasonably priced and ideal to teach my grandson the rudiments but it’s a challenge with being too hard… with a little bit of TLC to the tee boxes and greens it could be so much better…we will go again most certainly but please note the above….
Terrible pace of play
Stopped on every hole due to slow play ahead on the course! Defiantly should consider widening the tee times further apart ! Course upkeep is average at best.
Great starter course for starters
Great starter course for any budding golfers, my sons first go on a full course. Enjoyed it as it offers easy to a few challenging holes.
