Boldmere Golf Club

It's not the worst course in the world, but I think it's overpriced for the way the course looks. If you play after 3pm the cost is fair, I guess. But it's not worth £18. The tee boxes are in bad condition, lots of mud and very little grass, rubbish left lying around aswell. The greens need more tlc too.

This is a solid enough course, get what you pay for. More than happy to play here again, we only paid £12 for 18 holes. Bargain.

A good course which is enjoyable to play. However the last time I played, there was a massive backlog due to a tournament and people messing about taking 4/5 shots off the tee each and very slow play.

Hopefully the next time I play, it will flow better.

Brilliant few hours out can get round in about 3 hours decent course . Lots of par 3s and 4s only one par 5 definitely will be playing again

Course expensive for what it is. Numerous boggy areas which were unplayable. Can do much better.

Booked and payed on golf now, arrived and was told they had no record of my booking and my tee time was given to someone else. Not a major problem but frustrating to need to show e-mails and payment confirmation. Fortunately the other party was happy for me o join. Nice enough course for the money and all going well until the 5th hole. We caught up with a 5 ball. 4 bags, 5 players, 15 minute chat before hitting a ball 100 yards. Wouldn’t let us play through, apparently we’re members. Ruined the game, The party I played with said they usually finished in around 2- 2 hours 20. Mins. We took over 3 and a half hours. Put me off going again.. We were going to have a drink afterwards however had had enough by then so left.

Aside from that a good value for money short course, I would advise call and clarify what groups are booked before paying

Played the course solo and have been playing for just under 12 months having taken lessons. Was very impressed with the whole set up. I was booked to tee at 12.29 and experienced no queues across all 18 holes. Course was in excellent condition and although the holes are all par 3 or 4 (except for one par 5) some of them are particularly challenging and not to be under-estimated. Thoroughly enjoyable experience for very little outlay - I will be back!

First time and the course today and would never go back, a friend and I paid £20 each to play this course, I think at least 12 holes had temporary greens, 16 temporary tees, some of which were in the middle of a fairway yet the guy behind the shop didn't tell us any of this. Really disappointed with the course understand its winter and do have some temporary greens / tees but we should have been told about this or offered a cheaper rate. Disappointed customer

Well it’s been about 5 years since I last played on the course and I must say how friendly the staff member was at the desk. Now for the course.I have to admit it’s a shame they don’t use the old 17th and before that it use to be the 18th by the side of the car park. Considering the very warm weather we’ve had, the greens were in good condition. Having played on quite a few courses now. It feels as if there are too many par 3 holes though. Overall worth a round and I will be back !
