Bowring Park Golf Course

On arrival only 9 holes available as 9 too wet to play. Holes 1 and 2 were very boggy and really should haven't been open they were that wet. The remaining 7 holes were ok but the tees were a quagmire and the course really should have been closed. The course could take a long time to recover from the damage of remaining open. When the course dries out I will return as it is a decent course.

Played here many times before, but the course is in a state now, straight off on the first tee was struggling to walk with all the mud and scutch, greens was terrible not looked after atall! The course was only playing 9 holes instead of playing the full 18 over the bridge which wasn't stated on here. Somebody had been chipping/driving off the greens!!!! Also the same person I'm guessing smashed a hole to pieces, the hole was none existing. Absolutely terrible and has put me off the place for good. Play elsewhere this course is shocking

Worth a visit if local and never played here. Great value for the time of year and greens in good condition. Will play here again.

Enjoyed playing here, conditions good for October and the greens were really nice.

The course was a bit wet in places but no winter tees and the greens were very good. Can’t wait to play it again in the spring

Tee off times far to close arrived at 10.20 to tee off at 10.35 eventually teed off at 10.50 as there wa queue all waiting to tee off. Suppose municipal golf courses try squeeze as many people in as possible but spoilt the morning

I have played before but when they was having work done a few years ago. Played it today and it's in good very good condition a few of the greens need a little work but for £16 a round it's brilliant ..

A great course for any level of golfer, well kept fairways and average to good greens.Should be better and more clearer signs for where the next holes are, a 1st time player here would really struggle .

Brilliant course well maintained and for £12 . I have played courses £25-40 with worse greens great jon keep it up cant argue with that price if it stays that i wont be going anywhere else

Massively underrated course. Great condition and interesting holes. Only let down by the lack of halfway house or clubhouse for food and drinks. Also got lost a few times as the next hole is not always easy to find. More signage needed.
