Do not play
This course is in awful condition. Fairways terrible with no distinction between fairway and first cut of rough. Bunkers in terrible condition and greens are very poor with weeds growing in them and bare patches. There appears to be very little maintenance and the whole place is run down and requires a lot of maintenance
Tired
My. Friend and I played well around the links and we had to because just off the fairway we were met by waist high rough. Far too high to even walk in to look for your ball. Half the bunkers had a lot of grass growing in them and the greens were embarrassing. Very poor I’m afraid and the number of visitors coming back will surely decline unless they address some very big problems.sadly we won’t play there again
Gone Downhill
Played this course many times but not for a long time. Sad to say the course has gone down hill, very poor condition.
Scarborough travellers
Tees 6,Fairways 8, Greens 7, Bunkers 4, High Rough adjacent to the semi 10.
The Links was made good by the management allowing the thick rough adjacent to the semi rough to grow high. Most holes have great definition from the tee, giving it an Open Championship Links feel.
What a shame a lot of bunkers were GUR.....!
Finally, could we have the correct time showing on the magnificent clubhouse.
Thanks for a good value day.
Don’t believe everything you read
Haven’t played here for a good 7 or 8 years. Reading previous reviews was slightly worried it had fallen off a bit.
No need to worry, course was just fine, exactly what you’d expect for the money you’re paying. Driving range was also great and the staff were brilliant.
You’d be hard pressed to find a course with better views in the country.
Didn’t have chance to stay on at the bar after but looks good.
Disgraceful course
This course has deteriorated so badly over the last couple of years it's now virtually unplayable. First time visiting for almost 3 years and what a change. The Pro retired a couple of years ago and has not been replaced, and it shows. Pro shop is now a tea room, apparent 'problens with the mowers'. This is an understatement, you could lose your ball on the tee, never mind in the rough. We lost countless balls for being 1 or 2 yards off the fairway, because it's impossible to see anything. The greens are an absolute disgrace, it's clear to see that it is not being maintained at all. I used to love playing this course, but now I'll never play it again.
Worth a try
Front 9 very forgiving as long as you avoid the many bunkers
Back 9 some very interesting holes with some great views of Bridlington
Greens and price
Layout was nice, fairways nice, greens not the best, bunkers not great. We played Filey on the Friday for £30 which was a bargain then played brid links on the Saturday for £40 unfortunately there’s no comparison between the two courses on condition or price

The course is ok , reasonably difficult definitely ok for mid handicap golfers.
The only criticism I have is that the greens are in a very poor state and the bunkers are not great at all, in fact pretty unplayable on some holes.
Great course with fabulous views.
The team is always super helpful here. A great course, with great amenities. Played a few times and never fails to deliver.
Better than expected
Really good course most really long holes, if time and money was spent on the greens and tees would be a really great course! Will come back when cheap deals on again!
This is a really good golf course, Excellent facilities and location, very friendly staff, only wish they would do something about the greens, really poor condition and let the course down, come on links get those greens up to scratch

In the wind the course is tough, on a dry sunny day it then becomes quite easy.
Greens are not in a very good state but that’s down to the dry summer but they are playable.
Bunkers are a little disappointing but I’d say for how much the golf cost it’s more than great value.
Shocking greens
I thought we were putting on the beach with all the sand on the greens, the greens had been spiked and sanded.
Brid links informed me of the green maintenance less than 24 hours before our tee off time, so I was unable to cancel and get my money back. Will never go back there again 😡
Nice course
First of all, when you arrive you are met by a large clubhouse. Unfortunately when you go inside and particularly upstairs, there isn't a lot going on.
Staff are lovely and the upstairs is nice to sit in and outside on the balcony (weather permitting). But that's pretty much it.
Unfortunately we played on Monday and found on arrival, they don't do food on Monday.
Pro Shop... there isn't one...... there was a tiny stand off the bar area selling a few caps, 3 shirts and that was pretty much it.
Collect your score card from the bar.
Now the important bit... nice tea shop for sandwiches next to the first hole. The course itself played well. Nice variation of holes to test you with water and bunkers strategically placed. Sand was standard in the bunkers. The greens looked a bit patchy but actually played well if a bit slow.
All in all ... I'd go back anytime.
At first glance it looks very open but the long grass bordering the fairways makes it very tight .
Second 9 more interesting but overall a challenging course
East Coast Gem
My wife and I booked a late deal lodge on the Bridlington Links resort. I wasn't aware at the time that the course was literally right on my doorstep. There is a great warm up driving range facility located just to the side of the main course. A great little farm shop located nxt to tye 1st tee where u can grab a sandwich and some liquids before u tee off. Although thr course was very dry, as is every course in the UK at the minute I think it was in the best condition it could be. The wind was up and it became a real challenge on the back 9 as several of the holes are pretty mutch cliff edge. Although I enjoyed the front 9, the back 9 for me had all the signature holes. Several of them with cliff edge views. The fairways were fairly generous but if u hit your ball in the rough it wasn't even worth looking for. It was straight into the bag for another ball. So in summary, a great course which was fair but also challenging. For £20 it was an absolute bargain.
Excellent course, beautiful scenery, very friendly staff in clubhouse, highly recommend this course
Bridlington links
The course was very challenging. And the experience of playing a linked course for the first time was challenging.
