Bulbury Woods Golf Club

This can be a challenging course as wayward shots will be punished. However It’s not long so irons off the tee prove to be a good option of keeping your ball in play. When we played it was in the middle of a really hot and dry period and like most courses, the ball was running miles. There’s not a lot courses can do to combat Mother Nature but what I would say is that the course is in good condition and in particular the greens were first class. We look forward to returning soon.

We are moving to the area in October and as golfers we have been looking at local courses which we may join. After looking at and visiting a few we came across this gem of a course. It’s not long but accuracy off the tee is key. Fairways and greens were immaculate and each hole was different. Despite the fact our golf did not do it justice on this our first visit, it was really enjoyable and we will be back to play it again soon. After the golf we used the clubhouse facilities and found both the staff and members to be friendly and welcoming. If you are in the area do pay a visit as you will find the experience well worthwhile.

I haven't played this course for a few years. The course was in fabulous condition - best I've ever played it! It was a complete bargain on tee off times!

The greens were a little slower than our home course but were running pretty true.

It is a fairly short course and is quite wide on most holes so is suitable for all golf abilities. Thanks

Unfortunately the heavens had opened but regardless the umbrellas were opened and off we went. The course is well laid out and a good challenge for a high handicapper like myself. The rain although not a huge issue it did highlight the drainage issues with the course. All in all a great course which I enjoyed but may play again when it’s a bit dryer.

Course was close to being unplayable. Mud everywhere. Lost two balls on the fairway because they plugged and disappeared.

Wont be back until the Spring.

Always visit this course when im holidaying in the area. Some holes are difficult but not all...its a good test for all levels of golfer. Hired a battery trolley which ran out of juice on 13...quick call to the clubhouse and it was replaced before we teed off on 14....great service. Highly recommend a round here.

Have not played this course for nearly three years as having played before I did not have fond memories Of the quality and in particular the pace of play due to overbooking . After playing yesterday I could not speak highly enough about the quality of work that has gone into the upkeep and in paticular the quality of the greens. Staff were very friendly and helpful and I shall definitely be returning sooner rather than later. All in all challenging days golf and very good value

First time playing this course found it in excellent condition and despite all the tree lined fairways it was easier to play than I expected? Thoroughly enjoyed the day

Really liked the staff and friendliness in the clubhouse, the course however well kept was playing really fast when I was there, made the greens almost unreadable and really difficult to play. May try again in the winter it after a wet spell, hopefully it may play a bit softer.

Fast greens and lots of trees mean that every hole is a good challenge.

We have played here over the years and am always pleasantly delighted to see the improvements to the course and amenities. The clubhouse is not used enough, the staff are super friendly and apart from society do's its quiet. So come on Bulbury Management put your thinking caps on and put yourselves out there

The course is in very good condition, the greens were very fast, but had some damage in places. But did not cause any problems. Very friendly and welcoming.

We really enjoyed playing here. Some tricky holes, but nothing impossible even for a female higher handicapper - who can hit the ball a reasonable way off the tee.

My first ever round and was impressed, great value and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The course itself is fairly challenging with some very enclosed fairways making straight tee offs much needed. Lovely setting and although near to a busy main road it was very quiet. The only thing I would say that the course could benefit from would be a driving range. Will be returning.

Wettest day of the year and I decide to play golf! From the phone call to the course in th morning to check the course was still open to the minute we left the staff were really friendly! Course was wet but better than most I've played in the conditions. Course is great if a little narrow but that's the challenge! Had a great time!
