Poor

Was really looking forward to going back here as had a few enjoyable rounds here in the last few years but the course was in really poor condition. Despite the fact we haven't had much rain recently there were a lot of boggy areas and some of the temporary tees were ridiculous (including one mat dumped on a sloping path!) Greens were beyond awful, not one of our group had a bobble free putt all day and the areas around the holes had slopes that saw some balls roll back again! Greenkeeper needs to up his game considerably. Massively disappointin, I'd avoid until high summer!

Tight course, great test of golf

Played late February. Greens were not in good condition and bunkers were a little firm. Got stuck behind a society who were struggling with the right fairways and having to shape shots. Disappointed with the greens but hey it's winter golf and I'm sure during the summer it would be a lot better. Will definitely play again. But would pick a day when it's not as windy. This course will bring you back down to earth if you think you've mastered the game.

Absolutely stunning!

With it's beautiful, mature tree lined fairways and sweeping slopes of greenery it sets an ambience that makes you feel totally encapsulated in a place where time stands still. No matter how bad your score card looks, this course is an experience that leaves you with a smile on your face as you walk off the 18th green. The set-out is near perfect, I used every club in my bag, having to hit draws and fades to navigate around the tall poplars that tower over the course. The greens were lightning fast and in very good condition. This course would suit golfers of all abilities, it's worth playing just for the pleasant walk.

My favorite course I've played so far. 10/10.
