Booked this based on the reviews and we weren’t disappointed!

Bit of a strange start as I played at the wrong marker (18th), instead of following to the left of the road for the first 4 holes.

Really warm welcome and well stocked pro-shop. One of the most interesting courses I’ve played and even in the drizzle, the views are amazing!

Plenty of blind holes and to be honest, some could do with a bell, as takes a while to see the group in front. 4th has a really interesting hazard that of course I found! Have to cross a busy road twice which kept us alert.

Fairways and greens are in great nick, tees could do with a bit of tlc.

Would love to play again and perhaps take in Cavendish as well.

A lovely gol course with many interesting holes. A second visit would be much more enjoyable than your first as some local knowledge would reap great rewards.

A little noisy in parts with the busy road bisecting the course. Not as hilly as you might think - so good from that point of view. At the top end I would pay (£28) for a round without knowing in advance what I'd be faced with.

Travelled to the course after numerous days of heavy rain expecting temporary greens to be in use

Greeted by some club members who offered us a warm welcome to the club which was also received by the club Pro Carl,such a pleasant guy very accommodating friendly and informative, he advised us of any course issues of 2 temp greens, which actually weren’t in force all main greens, course in great condition. Had a drink afterwards members again very friendly making the whole day special

Arrived late due to car issues me and mate sent behind 4 ball so we could follow our way round. On a wet November day the course played very well with winter tees, fairways in good condition and excellent greens. Pace of play excellent we never waited at all to tee off. Couldn't stay for a drink as had to sort car out but will definitely be back.

Great course, weather just about held out for me but didn't ruin my round. Lovely scenic views

Great value for money, course was in great condition and was a good challenge. Pro in the shop was really helpful let us go out a little earlier and gave us a heads up on the first few holes.

Next tees could be signposted a little better but we made it round without an issue. Would go back without a second though. Great club.

Greens superb, every hole had something different.

The holes had yardage markers in the ground, however some yardage posts would have been easier to see and helped.

As usual a good day's golf greens a little slow which was understandable given the heat wave they were left a couple of mil long , as is the want of all clubs the fees have increased a reasonable amount ,,which may not be a wise move long term..

Played again for 4th time this excellent course on 17 June. Staff very friendly and course in brilliant condition although there are on-going works on the course which when completed will make it even better. Many thanks and will return soon!

Played course for 3rd time. Much work redeveloping course for the better. Great condition sunny warm but windy as expected in Buxton. Super test of all golfing abilities.

Played here as my playing partner Neil had always wanted to play it. We weren’t disappointed with Neil describing it as the best inland course he’s ever played. A bit windy at times but it all added to the challenge. Every hole is different and the mix of parkland and links style holes make for a real fun game of golf. We will definitely be back
