About
Highly touted Buffalo Creek has been praised for its layout, condition, and overall attention to detail. No matter who you talk to in the DFW area, they all seem to praise the superb condition of the course from tee to green. Offering a 7,078-yard par 71 Jay Morrish/Tom Weiskopf design, Buffalo Creek offers a good combination of holes: straight holes, dogleggers, uphill and downhill shots, and both long and short holes.
One of the best features is the club’s method of using a pin location sheet to mark exactly where each pin is located on a particular day (up to six locations), which is unbelievably helpful to hacks who’ve never played the course before and have no feel for the look and contour of the greens.
Getting there : Take I-30 east from Dallas and exit Ridge Rd. Turn right and find the course 1.6 miles down on the left.

Overall enjoyable experience, even though weather wasn't the best. Course was in nice conditions, average pace of play, and those working were extremely polite and informative. Will DEFINITELY play again, but I tend to play slightly lower green fees
Nice course overall
Overall a good experience, I liked the course. Has some fun and challenging holes. Only bad experience I had was with the Marshall. Drive by and I said good morning and he just say “you all need to hurry up”. We were on pace the entire time. We even had caught up with the group in front of us. Keeping players aware of the pace isn’t a problem. I don’t understand why he had to be so rude. Made me want to be confrontational and took away from the round.

Course is in awesome condition. Some of the best greens I have seen.
Course conditions were great, slow pace.
Was very slow today, teed off at 8:40, the second group in front of us was a least 3 holes behind. Ranger never stopped to say anything to anyone just drove by and waved.
This is one of the best kept courses in DFW and worth the cost. GPS in the course may help pace of play. Staff if very friendly and welcoming.
Love this course
Fifth time to play here and locally it’s the best bang for the buck. Course layout is nice and the fairways are nice and green.
Comeback Course Award
Buffalo Creek went through some tough times and ownership changes. Being a local I can truthfully say that the course has truly made a turn for the better and should be commended and played.

A Gem
Hadn’t played Buffalo Creek in awhile due to pace of play, but glad I decided to go back! Greens are the best I’ve played in DFW and course overall is in fantastic shape, staff was excellent as well! Overall excellent experience and would highly recommend.

Course was good n very good conditions, especially with how hot and dry it has been in Texas lately. Will definitely play it again.
Course was decent, but greens were just punched
First the price on Golfnow was $65. I paid $20 through Golfnow and I was supposed to only pay $45 at the course. I checked in and was charged $60. I asked why and they said their price on the weekend was $80. I told and showed them that Golfnow said I was to only pay $40 at the course, but they pretty much said, it is what it is. I pay and go to the practice green and it was quite evident that there was a recent punch. So on top of the fact I had to pay more that I thought, the greens were just punched. The course is in pretty good shape, but the fact that no one tells you they just punch, just kind of ticked me off. Please put on the website or Golfnow when you punch. It’s not hard.
Great Course with variety
Nice friendly staff and the course is in very good shape. Challenging round of golf with a very nice setting!
