About
Highly touted Buffalo Creek has been praised for its layout, condition, and overall attention to detail. No matter who you talk to in the DFW area, they all seem to praise the superb condition of the course from tee to green. Offering a 7,078-yard par 71 Jay Morrish/Tom Weiskopf design, Buffalo Creek offers a good combination of holes: straight holes, dogleggers, uphill and downhill shots, and both long and short holes.
One of the best features is the club’s method of using a pin location sheet to mark exactly where each pin is located on a particular day (up to six locations), which is unbelievably helpful to hacks who’ve never played the course before and have no feel for the look and contour of the greens.
Getting there : Take I-30 east from Dallas and exit Ridge Rd. Turn right and find the course 1.6 miles down on the left.

I really enjoyed this course. It was in very good condition and the staff was excellent! As I finished 14 I noticed my cart was running down. I hit my tee shot on 15 and called the clubhouse. By the time the other two players hit their tee shots and before we completed our second shots the staff had delivered me another cart! Will play here again when I am in the area!
Great course and layout
Loved the course and layout. Considering the heat and conditions, the course was in great shape. Consistent greens, lush fairways and tee boxes. Several courses are struggling in DFW, but BCGC is not. Can’t recommend enough

Great Play.
Played all over DFW and this was a real gem. Great layout, great condition, and very playable. Will def put it in my rotation. Lastly, shout out to the staff.
Bad Management
Arrived and the pro shop did not have any keys for the carts. Unbelievable. Only gets worse. We started on 10 at 6:20 pm due to tourney beginning on hole 1 with jr golfers. Not a problem. On hole 4 our cart lost power and it took the club house 45 minutes to supply us with another cart. By that time it was too dark to finish.
Great Public course
Play here a lot and they are for sure taking care of it and making it a great and fun course. Course conditions are great, they did punch the greens on Monday June 5th but they are healing up nice. Overall a great course and highly recommend
Good course!!
This was my first time playing and I was very pleased with the overall course conditions. There was a few rough spots but no big deal!! The greens rolled nice!! It is a must play as the price and conditions are very good!!
Really liked the course layout. Fairway were in good condition, however, putting greens just received maintenance. In a couple of weeks greens should line up with fairway conditions. Would definitely play again.
Fun course!
Fun course! Staff are great. Although the greens had to be aerated which left sand on the putting service, it still did not affect our round. Will be back!!

Course was in really good shape from tee to green. Staff was friendly. Overall great value for the price.
Excellent customer service!
Course was great! Greens were a bit sandy but we liked them regardless. Pace was a bit slow but it was extremely busy. However, the CUSTOMER SERVICE was spot on!! Service cart came by like 10 times offering free waters and ice. The staff at the front desk were incredibly nice and attentive. We will be back!!
Slow play and lack of marshals
Extreme slow play and several groups unwilling to let single player play through…plus no marshals to keep players/groups moving with pace of play! Left after 12th hole at 3 hour mark
Working on the greens
Have always liked this course and they are working on improving the greens. They have some sort of root rot on some of the greens and are transplanting to fix the problem. They are working on the cart paths and area around the first tee box and the last par 5. That par 5 is affected as a result, but overall, once these things are complete this course will be a very nice course for the money.
