The course was fine, greens and fairways in good order, tee boxes a bit less so.

Some short dog legs, requiring careful club selection and line off the tee.

What was very disappointing was the appalling communication. I turned up, fresh from work and asked where the changing rooms were, so I could get my golf gear on and leave my work clothes I'm a locker. When I finished at 7pm, after a sub 3hour round, the whole complex was locked up. There was nowhere to get a drink or bite to eat and worse still, my clothes were locked inside. Not anywhere inside or outside was this bizarrely early closing time mentioned. I've played many courses and this is unheard off. It ended up costing me over and hour and a half travel the next day to retrieve my clothes.

I enjoy playing this course as it has som interesting holes; ups, downs, twists & turns. It's challenging but pleasant to play.

We booked a round here last minute after our local course being closed for snow, and so had limited expectations for any course in the local area, but were far from disappointed. The course was in excellent shape bar one hole that had a temporary tee due to the beautiful river that flows next to it overfilling. Pleasantly laid out and technically challenging it was a pleasure to play.

Clubhouse and pro shop were warm and inviting, and we had a great day. Will definitely visit again!

Bad condition and golf constantly interrupted by walkers crossing the fairways

Have played here a few times now, as a beginner it is very challenging for me but the course is so beautiful and the club is so friendly I will definitely keep coming back. I would recommend Colne Valley to everyone

Played this last greens and fairways were good this time I was disappointed the greens we’re bumpy fairways long ish grass. And the ramblers were Annoying

Friendly, helpful staff, really welcoming atmosphere in a beautiful location. Only downside was the condition of the greens but that is probably due to the time of year we played. Will definitely be back

Always a warm and genuine welcome when visiting this golf club. The staff cannot do enough to make your visit memorable and enjoyable. The course was presented beautifully and well defined and manicured accordingly but sadly the greens had recently been hollow tyned and dressed which made putting challenging. This did not take anything away from the enjoyment we had. Best pint of Guinness Ive had outside of Ireland. We will return. Thankyou.

Played here for the first time since lockdown on Saturday the 3rd July and the course is in the best condition I have ever seen it. The fairways were all well manicured and with plenty of grass cut to ideal length. Greens are all in excellent nick, running true with reasonable pace and quite receptive. The furniture that has been added to the course bin the way of gates and fences to guide walkers along with the tidying up around ponds along with the mowing patterns are really pleasing on the eye. Staff in pro shop and lounge very helpful and friendly. Had a beer on the patio area after what was a very enjoyable and pleasantly warm and dry day given the forecast.

Colne Valley is an interesting layout and set in beautiful surroundings. Good greens although a little slow.

We really enjoyed our round and the lunch was good also.
