Do not judge this book by its cover!

When we first arrived at the course, everyone in my group was slightly disheartened as it appeared to be a boring course in poor condition. We were all very wrong, the tees and greens were fantastic, with the fairways only let down by the lack of rain we’ve had in recent weeks, nothing NGGC can do about that. The layout was challenging, staff were very helpful and friendly, and pace of play was brilliant. Would definitely recommend.

Back 9 is oddly bad, it’s on a main road!

Front 9 is nice, back 9 is horrible. Couple of Locals members are rude and obnoxious, pulled up behind a 4 ball messing around in the ditch to then hold me up for 45 minuets without even acknowledging it I stand behind them on the tee. If your that bad at golf at least have the decency to let people though.

First time here

Overall a good course whether your new to golf or not, some lovely little par 3s which I personally like on a course as I’m new to the game and some daunting par 5s, £22 for 18 holes is an absolute steal, would definitely recommend and would definitely come again 🏌️

A fantastic little gem

Not the first time ive played here, but first time to review.

Dont want to go into too much detail as i think others need to make up their own minds, but personally i think this i one of the best pound for pound courses ive ever played.

Well into November and the greens were stunning, absolute credit to the greenkeeping staff.

As you would expect, quite a few dropped leaves in the wooded areas but my group had no trouble all day finding off centre hits.

Pro shop very friendly and helpful (Even sent me a courtesy text before i arrived to say that due to illness the kitchen was closed for the day) - Nice touch!

Its has a lot of character and because it is mainly flat, is perfect for those less mobile to play.

All in all i think you will struggle to find better value for money or better greens anywhere in Suffolk - Fantastic

Good condition

A good challenge but course layout/target lines on the back 9 can be a little confusing. Friendly staff and great value for money.

An interesting and well kept course

A friend and I played for only £19 each which was very good value for money. The front 9 holes are very open and wide and like a Parkland course. Some very long holes, even the par 3’s are long. The back 9 are much tighter with more obstacles. Overall the course is very well maintained, some fairways are as good as some greens I have played on. Great changing rooms and clubhouse, I will definitely look to play again when I see the next Hot Deal.

£20 for a round could suggests this isnt a great course to play but loved being proved wrong. Greens in good nick given the weather lately. Quirky but challenged us enough. Definitely recommend and would play again

An interesting course that ends with you dodging traffic...or rather traffic dodging you.

Played a society day here but would be happy to come back another day.
