Shame about the tees

A great course set in attractive parkland with some tricky holes to keep you on your toes. But the tees are dreadfully neglected, just patchy and poorly maintained. Greens slow and spongy but in good condition, and fairways not bad.

The course is a pleasure to play with a few quirky holes. The fairways and greens are in good condition greens a bit slow. Tee boxes are a bit rough these need attention. Staff friendly and members friendly

A Decent Track - Good Value

Good value for money. Course was in decent condition for February. Would like to play in the Summer especially if the hot deals are on.

Course layout was slightly confusing at times but not the worst one I’ve seen.

Would recommend but not at full price. If somewhere different at a fair price is what your after, give it a bash.

Good value for money course

Course was very good given the time of year, some of the greens had been spiked, but no temporary greens or tee off mats which was a bonus. Course was not busy so speed of play was great with no hanging around for other golfers to tee off. Course has a few challenging holes with some water hazards to contend with. The weather on the day was not great being very damp misty and some of the greens still a bit frozen, so this added to the challenge.

Using the Golf Now Hot Deal this was fantastic value for money
