Over priced

I have played this course a number of times, but this is the highest price I have paid and then I found the course to be in the worst condition ever. I can see why it was so quiet on a Saturday morning. I hope they get their price point adjusted as I won’t be back until it is priced correctly.

Decent course

Had a good day here. The first hole is a picture to look at and they’re are some challenging holes through the course. Fairways in good condition, greens were spongy but consistent . Tee boxes and and bunkers could do with being tidied up a bit. Would def come back

A case of lost potential

Costessey Park has the potential to be one of the best courses in Norfolk with lovely surroundings, challenging and interesting hole layouts and good quality fairways and greens, however some basic grounds keeping oversights really let the overall experience down.

Tee boxes are mostly bald - it doesn’t appear as though the tee markers are ever moved back or forwards on the tee box to allow grass to regrow, resulting in teeing off on dirt patches with uneven ground.

Bunkers - there is little to no sand in the bunkers. They are effectively just hard mud patches, leaving you feeling like you are hitting off of a path and providing no confidence when standing over the ball.

If these 2 issues are resolved, it would make a huge difference to the overall feel and quality of the golf course, and I’d be willing to play the majority of my rounds here. As it stands, I cannot recommend the course to friends at the price point they are positioned at.

Great afternoon of golf.

Great coarse, what is tucked away in lovely part of Norwich. I had a lunch time tee time and there wasn’t many people at all at the time. The coarse has a good mixture of holes, with some challenging and tight shots.

Staff and the other players are very friendly. The facilities are small and functional. No driving range, what was a bit of a disappointment as I do like to have a quick practice and warm up before I start. There some practice nets and a putting green what do the job. Will definitely play here again.

Good time to play this course.

Pleasure to play as the course was in a good condition, green lush fairways and greens

after somewhat rainy past weeks.

The bunkers all need attention with filling up with sand.

Nicely maintained and interesting course with warm welcome

Very much enjoyed my round here. The fairways in very good condition, the greens also very good, perhaps a little slower than some other courses, but fine for me. The "rough" is also well maintained, and the course is very attractive with holes lined with trees, the river/stream coming into play, even the heron seemed friendly! Staff and any other players I met were all friendly and helpful.

Beautiful setting

A lovely mature course with greens in excellent condition for the time of year. Also good to see bunkers raked this time as hard as rock last time I was here. The fairways took some getting used to as no clear difference in grass height when compared to the rough. I can only assume they have not been cut for fear of frost at this time of year. Other players very courteous and as a single player I was allowed to play through a couple of times. Although this is expected golf etiquette, this is not always observed at other clubs I have played locally. I popped in the lovely clubhouse for a post game drink and received a nice welcome from staff and members.
