Good course
Enjoyed playing at Datchet for the first time, not the longest course you will play but for people like myself just getting back into golf after a while away it was a good size course with a good mix of par threes and fours. Also if for some reason you like playing out of bunkers there are plenty to choose from too as I found out!
Great course
This the second time played as visitors, This is a great course, would recommend this course, fairways are in really good condition, the greens are excellent, the green keepers are doing an excellent job in keeping this course in a great condition
Great course
Although only a 9 hole course there is the option to play 18 and for ladies in particular there are different tee-offs.
The fairways are in very good condition given the lack of rain and the putting greens are in great condition.
My only criticism is that because of COVID19 the Pro Shop was closed when I arrived for a 7.32 am tee-off but thankfully on a previous occasion one of the green keepers showed me where scorecards are located.
Very average
The back 9 is the same holes as the front 9 but with a slightly different tee. The speed of play was pretty slow with some of the tee offs and greens not in great shape, most fairways were in good condition though. Not a bad course but won’t go again anytime soon.
Price was not the same as booked
When booking on line with Golf now the price per player was £18 per player and advised to pay at the course. When arriving we were told the green fee was £25 per player ?? Misleading when booking and when asking the staff member behind the bar I was met with the answer I don’t know what that is. Apart from that quite good value and course condition was good for the price
