The Quarry Golf Course

The course was in great shape. Greens were true and fairways were well taken care of. Make sure you keep it on the fairway the rough is not forgiving. Overall a great place to play.

Showed up not knowing what to expect. Got there early and had breakfast. Very friendly staff and the food was surprisingly very good! Started on the back 9 because the Marshall stated it gets very hot in the afternoon and almost no wind in the basin of the quarry. Course was a little wet due to all the heavy rains, but still played good. Drains very well on most fairways. Greens were very nice but slow. Probably due to all of the rain. Got a little slow at the turn but ended up finishing the round in 4 hrs.

This course is usually in nice condition and it was again today. The course has received a lot of rain lately and it was very green, but muddy in spots. The greens are also in nice condition. Staff is always friendly and ready to help. The round only took me three hours to play (I was by myself and the groups in front of me were fast.) I used Golf Now to book the course and that went well. So overall, a nice round, fast pace, and no issues. I recommend The Quarry.

If you pass on playing this course, you are missing out.

We started our round and it started to sprinkle. During our round we had 3 rain delays. Never went in just stayed in our carts and stuck it out. We started on the back side and was not sure why until we got to the front side. The back drained very well and the front didn’t. It had been raining all week. Over all course was in good shape. Pace was great until we caught 2 groups of 4 on the back side. Then we were waiting on every shot. Sucked because we were playing with a group of 5. We had grouped a 3 and 2 group because of slow pace.

The quarry part of golf was only on the back side. Front side was just a regular layout.

Overall we would play again. But early in the morning to avoid the crowds.

What a beautiful course. Even though you in yhe middle of shopping centers and food joints you feel like you are not. The back 9 is absolutely awesome and the view is set to where you can see every hole from the cpurse. The greens were rolling true and a little slow due to recent rains. I played with 2 locals who said the greens were normally faster. The front 9 also had some hreat views and holes. I would definitely play here all the time if I lived here. If you are in San Antonio I woyld make sure to play here.

Fun course. Back nine is a spectacular track. Course was in great condition. Pro shop and bar/restaurant are high quality. Would highly recommend and play again.

I've played here couple of times. I do enjoy this course. Front nine can be tough to play in valley if there is no breeze during summer days. Price is bit on high side compared to other resort good courses.

Overall great course. Pace of okay was good and course was in great shape greens were recently airated but still played well. Gem in the San Antonio area.

The course is in the best shape I have seen it in. Great pace, finished quickly.

Came early and ate a good breakfast. Good service. I came in as a single and they put me with two great guys. The tee boxes, fairways and greens were in perfect condition. Greens were slower than I prefer but rolled true. Entire staff were very helpful and nice. Got my tee time on TeeOff.com for $66. This course is only 15 minutes from downtown. Had a great time.
