Dummer - 18 holes midweek

Enjoyable round of golf but sadly a bit slow due to a few 4 four balls playing a match ahead of us. Otherwise a good round, not very punishing for shots offline but still made for a good test. Greens OK but obviously improving after winter maintenance etc.

Would happily play again here.

Good design

Really enjoyed playing here today.. very breezy which made the course a challenge, and the length off the whites was a good test for us (15 handicaps)

The only minor downside was the condition of the bunkers which had too much sand and the ball would often plug making it overly difficult on occasions when just missing a green

Very nice track though with a nice mix of holes and would certainly look to play again

Pleasantly surprised

Decided to play Dummer as it was recommended to me from a friend as a good draining course. I was not dissapointed. It had rained all week and courses were closed where I live which was about an hour away. There were a couple of muddy spots but genuinely so surprised at how dry the course was. We were still getting. The ball bouncing on fairways and on some of the higher holes the soil under the grass was bone dry. The course itself was also really good. Each hole is shaped well with contouring, some good short holes that you can be aggresive with and some longer holes aswell. Will definitely be playing again. Highly recommend it

Good allround course

Course in very good condition and the greens were quite fast and tricky. Teed off quite early and so wasn't busy and got round in good time. Nice atmosphere in lounge afterwards.
