About
Canyon Springs Golf Club is a true Hill Country course. You need to stay on the fairways or bring plenty of balls. Using an old farm to build on this choice piece of Texas real estate, this land has been artfully transformed into what many golfers will refer to as among the very best of what Texas has to offer. With five sets of tee boxes on each hole, demanding greens, natural Hill Country surroundings and magnificent limestone waterfalls on two holes, this 7,000-plus-yard course presents a significant challenge to event the most experienced golfers (and even those who think they are).

Pacing
Pacing is always a problem in here,reason is slow players ignore players behind them.
Great course, but need serious marshaling.
Several times during the round there were 4 groups on a par 4. I’m not sure where the slow play ahead of us was, but I never saw a marshal during the round.
Tee time was 2:10. Went off early and only could get 15 holes completed before 6. Shouldn’t happen when everyone has carts and 90 degree rule.
Not what I expected
My first time playing and not my favorite. The forecast didn’t hold up. It was cold & wet! I was pared with 2 other players that were really late, so I played alone behind a 3some that threw off the pace. Course conditions were not the best but will try again in better weather.
Fun course, amazing greens

Longest round ever
When we showed up for our 12:30 tee time the parking lot was completely full of occupied carts getting their instruction on the start of a tournament. I mean a large tournament. After checking in I asked why did you even sell tee times in the middle of such a large tournament. The guy just shrugged his shoulders. It was so slow that it took almost six hours to complete the round. Our timing and rhythm was so off, the round was a bust. The marshalers was very apologetic but they should have never booked other tee times in the middle of a tournament.
Always on point
This course never disappoints, always in great condition, always a good challenge.
Best course in the area!
Challenging and beautiful golf course. Awesome staff, pro shop, starters, marshals and especially the beautiful girls vending snacks and drinks. Definitely going back
