East Horton Golf Club - Parkland Course

Layout of the entire golf centre was very nice. Staff very friendly and the golf course itself was in nice condition

Drinks car came in very handy in the heat and I would 100% play again

Love East Horton! The Parkland course is great for medium to high handicap golfers, plenty of encouragement to get the driver out, nice variation in holes and hidden hazards. Unhurried pace of play. Course is playing well given the conditions, rough bit too punishing. Plenty of staff out watering the greens, which are in good shape still. The staff are amongst the friendliest around and it’s always great value for money! Love the place and I’ll be back soon.

Nice course. Good condition fairways and greens.

Lack of 150 yard markers make you think. But overal a lovely round .

Played the east Horton parklands course. It was really good. Very well kept and a good challenge. Will definitely be going back

East Horton offers 2 great 18 hole courses and a quick 9 hole.

Great all round courses and well maintained.

I’ve played here many times now, staff are brilliant, course can get boggy, but I have to say the greens at East Horton are the best in the Hedge End area!!

This was a nice course to play especially for someone, like myself, who is relatively new to golf. The course is not too long which is great for beginners / high handicappers. It was quite windy when I played which made some of the holes more challenging. The course was reasonably quiet with mainly ones and twos which meant play was quite quick which was great. The clubhouse was quiet but friendly and a pint after the round went down a treat. Would definitely play this course again.

Parklands was very wet( strange because it hasn’t rained for some time) off fairways and around tee boxes, unfortunately this course does hang on to surface water.

Could not play and lost money as trolleys were not allowed on the course

Boggy, muddy and wet , not enjoyable at all , lucky for us it hasn’t rained for a couple of weeks

Overall good course, still waterlogged around fair ways and tee’s, nothing on fairways or greens though. Slow going at points as a lot of 3/4 balls but to be expected

Course was under water and unplayable we were the only four players over three courses, should have been vlosed

Highly recommended, special mention to Rik the course Marshall, lovely chap friendly and super helpful.

Had a great round today, need to be straight off the tee as rough was horrendous, lost a few balls when should have been found!

Only down side were the greens, grass too long, slow and bobbly, cost me many shots today.

Overall a decent enough course and would visit again.

Green fees over player experience.

Rude locals and members not letting faster two balls through four balls. Waiting after every shot, we gave up after 15 and went come as play was so slow.

I’d avoid going back to East Horton, they’ve priorities all

wrong.
