Easy course to walk, quite forgiving
I’ve played the Parkland course many times I found it more forgiving than the Greenwood course at East Horton
Good value for money when the greens are in good condition
Parklands
The welcome is always very good the course is ok the greens did not look like they had been cut
But if yo have played parklands before you know the it is the easier of the 2 courses but still great value great welcome and always very helpful and Friendly can’t wait for my next visit
Golf today
Don’t appreciate being paired with someone else, this was not stated.
It's Alright.
Paying more than £20 would be steep for what is a field. Course is in pretty good shape but it's not the most exciting of layouts
Challenging course fo high handicap
Really good course. Greens in great condition. Wide variety of holes with a few ditches across fairways to catch you out
Good course for high handicap players.
A busy course, but well organised in all aspects during this difficult period.
Great day! Amazing course!
Over the past 3 months my friends and I have played twice every week and have loved every minute! It’s amazing to see that the guys here can still provide an amazing experience during these times. Staff are very friendly and nothing ever seems to much. You will find yourself seeing the drinks buggy a few times around the course which has treated us well to a few beers along the way! Greens are a decent pace and fairways are nice and wide. Will be returning Monday for the next round.
Shame GolfNow sell the same teatime to multiple people
Shame GolfNow sell the same teatime to multiple people making it very congested. 2.40hrs for 11 holes as a single player before giving up
COVID Round
The course was is good conditions all be it for a few patchy
Greens. Fairways are very wide but the rough is punishing should you not find them.
Great round - first time there
This course is a well laid out parkland style aptly named. Plenty of space in general with some narrow approaches in between trees and a stream that winds its way across the course providing a repeating obstacle.
Generally flat the final few holes are more hilly & add variety and challenges to the game.
Will play again.
East Horton
Played three times in summer excellent course and lovely meal at the end in spikes bar definitely recommended
Good greens for time of the year
Very muddy, but good greens the only downs was playing off mats and the price I paid 3 days before was £20 each and on the day tee times had it down for £12 which was very disappointing, when I phone to get refund there was a straight forward NO.
First time in 2018 playing 18 holes
Considering all the wet weather we have had so far this year, this course played reasonably well from the fairway, which I found at least once. Ha ha
Never again
I have played this course numerous times of the last 20 years.
I have never seen the course in such a terrible state... too many reasons to support my comments. l know we have had a wet winter, but other courses have coped. Never again.. it was really poor...
