Eden Golf Club - Eden Course

Excellent course which has well set out and in great condition. We had a friendly welcoming at the clubhouse and were offered an earlier tee off which was appreciated. The course is quite long with some challenging holes however nothing too difficult. The greens ran true and were mid paced. The fairway’s could have been shorter so not much run unfortunately. The course has a few blind shots and plenty of water hazards dotted about which added to the drama!! We paid £16.99 for our round each which was a steal for a course of this standard. Well worth a visit.

Very nice clubhouse with excellent food and drink. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Course was in great condition with a nice layout. Enjoyed the afternoon. Would recommend to anyone.

The course was in great condition but what stood out was the exceptional and professional service delivered by the golf Secretary. As a guest members made us feel welcome. Enjoyed the challenge the course put up. The food was excellent and the friendliness of the staff was exceptional. Would highly recommend both the 9 hole and championship course as a great golfing day out well done to everyone at the club for making it a great day thanks

Course in great condition the greens are some of the best we have played on this year.The facilities are great and the members friendly.staff very helpful and food and drink spot on .

Great course, lovely welcome - definitely play again

Lovely place to spend a few hours, friendly welcome, nice facilities for before during and after the round. Course played tough but good shots were also rewarded. Enough variety to keep it interesting and the greens were pure.

Driving range location a bit of a let down as 18th fairway ends up covered in practice balls and it did feel a little like I was being shelled coming down the fairway so beware.

Lovely opening holes, couple of reachable par 5s and long par 4s. Most of the par 3s well protected with bunkers and slopes. Par 5 18th heading back to the clubhouse is lovely.

Food looked great, beer was cold in the clubhouse and locals seemed friendly. Well worth a visit.

I would recommend this course to all . Fantastic condition . Good layout . Thouroghly enjoyed it . I will be back .

Course was long of the white tees, well groomed fairways with some tight tree lined holes with unforgiving rough under the trees. Some water hazards to negotiate also made interest.

Some greens a bit patchy and mossy, course was wet the day we played due to rain.

Lovely friendly girl in pro shop, very welcoming.

Enjoyed the course, would certainly recommend a round there.

Nice course been working up in Carlisle so fancied a cheap round of golf Saturday afternoon before work., great deal and the course was in good condition.

Course was very good and staff polite and helpful in the clubhouse. Would have no hesitation in visiting again. Thanks to all.

End of winter golf so course not at it's best, as expected for a parkland course, good value at hotdeal price (£15).

Would definitely go back in summer to have another round.

Myself and my two playing partners were looking for somewhere to play to escape the extreme weather in our local area. We settled on Eden Golf Club which is only an hour and a half south and I'm glad we did. I found the staff to be really friendly and the clubhouse was really nice. The course was in excellent condition for the time of year with some really good holes, the course is pretty tricky with plenty of bunkers and water hazards which on the day we attended was accompanied with some strong winds. This however did not take away from what was a very enjoyable day of golf, we will be back.

Really nice course, even in winter conditions you can see it’s well looked after. Staff were fantastic aswel. Clubhouse was really nice.

Brilliant and well kept fairways and greens. Course was in excellent codition for september .great value for money and not hard on the legs .
