Eden Golf Club - Eden Course

The course was in super condition though would have liked the greens to be a bit quicker. Fairly wide fairways but enough doglegs and hazards to keep the challenge true all the way around. An easy walk and good signage from hole to hole. Really enjoyed it and would definitely play again.

Played this and reviewed last week as well so just a small addendum to the first one. A week back some fairways were still a bit soft but I can report they're now fully dried out. The greens also are looking a bit healthier though could have done with a bit of a cut for today. I paid full cost £30 which is a good sensible price. You know my only real gripe here? It maybe sound silly but calling it the "Championship" course is a niggle. To me it suggests it's a top top course. It's not, it's nice to play though, just call it Eden Golf Course/Club. Championship is too fancy.

Was quiet which isn't surprising given it rained all day. They've done well to get the entire course including greens open. Of course conditions are far from perfect due to the rain we've had all year so it was soft in places and I took a lift and place a couple or three times. The course is very flat overall so easy to walk around without much difficulty.

Fairways are generally wide enough even for me, a consistent sprayer of the ball though there are a couple where tee shot placement is key. Pricewise I went on a "hot deal" so very reasonable but even the full price is no deterrent. I'd play it again and recommend unless you're looking for something really challenging.

Course was playing a short few holes and winter tees greens couple full greens weather has been a lot of rain so was expected so bit difficult to give full review staff were very nice and had chat with couple members all very friendly and welcoming course looked like would be a good challenge so hopefully come back in summer time but good value for money while there didn’t have time to stay for food as we were completely soaked and needed to head back to hotel but place looked very nice so would definitely recommend thanks

We booked the Eden Course last minute and we’re not disappointed. The course is relatively flat with wide open fairways. Would be perfect for corporate or society golf. Could not fault the Course condition and the staff in the clubhouse were exemplary. Manageress changed our tee time to avoid four balls without any question. Relatively quiet on the day we played. Would definitely play here again if we are in the area.

despite inclement conditions, the course was excellent, as to be expected with a championship, challenging and punishing, but really enjoyable. I will return to play the Hadrian's course soon

was a frosty morning, fairly wet under foot so it was winter greens, as on any course not the best to play on, 1 hole was closed completely but fairly understandable with conditions. club house staff lovely and even let us tee off early as it was quiet. all in all for the price we paid, it was worth it

Considering all the rain we have had the course was not as bad as expected. One hole was not in play and one temporary green plus a few tees where you played off a mat .What I did like was the tees are flat and the course is probably the safest that I have ever played on. It would be virtually impossible to hit another player on a different fairway. Although I did not use them the practise facilities looked superb. The clubhouse also was very nice. Will certainly play again.

Really good course, lots of variation of holes, would recommend to anyone. Booking on golf now we got a tee time for £13 each, great value for money.

I'm no longer member of club due to other commitments. Mate was home for few days from abroad and fancied cheap round. Picked up bargain on golf now and had really pleasant game. Despite torrential rain in morning course held up pretty well. Nice bacon butty beforehand and pint after. And the chap in the shop let mate use a spare putter he had.

Beautiful course all the holes are tree-lined and secluded a reasonably flat course but some testing holes, a few doglegs great fairways and very well kept greens

All in all one of the best courses I have played, it's a must try, I certainly will be back very soon.

Have driven past this course hundreds of times and never played it. Really nice course. Perfect combination of challenging and fun holes. Very very fair with great greens and scenic views. Will definitely come and play again soon!
