Fairfield Golf & Sailing Club

Loved this course, all the holes were brilliantly designed and the scenery was amazing. I played on a Sunday and I normally play on my own which I prefer but my only complaint is that I got put in a group of 3 who all knew each other and I felt like I was intruding on their game, they were great guys though.

The course was in very good condition although the lack of rain lately made for very hard greens. Greens also had a few pitch marks, but really enjoyed my game. The fairways were in very good condition. I would definitely play it again.

Great course great condition chap in the pro shop friendly enough and great place to have a pint on the 19th hole will be back for definite only small issue on the day was the green keepers constantly mowing the greens on virtually every hole we was using which slowed the pace of play down and was a bit off putting as they sat behind you waiting for you to finish putting so felt as though had to rush a little but hey they is a small gripe on a great course & day well worth a visit!

On arrival I was informed that holes 3 through to 8 had been closed due to the ground being too wet, but due to the layout of the course it was still easy to play 18 holes by playing 6 holes twice. A lot of holes are on a loop so you dont need to walk very far to play a loop twice. The holes I played were boggy in places the ground was very wet and it was a bit of a slog. The best aspect of the course was the greens still in pretty good nick and playing slow but true

Not a great day. Playjng off winter tees. No part off my game on song. Very wet in places. Lost balls on the fairway. Very annoying. Signage a bit hit and miss. Just a bad day overall. Would like to play when it's dry. Challenging.

Course was as expected, wet underfoot, but still playable.

Great course greens in great condition challenging course with some great holes and very scenic on some holes Carnt wait too return possibly look at a membership even for next year definitely the best conditioned course it it’s price bracket in the area

Love Fairfield. Picked up golf over lockdown and my first course was Fairfield. I've been hooked ever since. So scenic, challenging fairways but such a satisfying round. Great clubhouse too. Only thing missing is a driving range!
