Excellent course with pristine greens and exquisite fairways
This was my second time of playing Golf at this Course, after a friend had invited me there the previous week. I enjoyed the round so much that I booked to play this week. The course is great and I guarantee that you will enjoy the fairways and the greens. Albeit a 9-hole course, there are 18 different Tee boxes that will definitely give you the feel of playing 18 different holes. It's excellent value for money. I'll recommend this Course.
Little gem
Lovely little 9 hole course with some testing holes and with the 10th-18th holes having separate tee boxes from the first 9 some boxes are around 30yards away making the holes a different challenge.
Thanks for a very enjoyable afternoon
Great Course
Having played football at Gay Farm many times I was amazed that I’d never noticed a golf course there before.
Was looking for a cheap round to get me started back into playing after a long layoff I found this place and at the price wasn’t expecting much if I’m honest thought it was going to be an easy 9 hole, Well was I in for a shock..!!!!!
We arrived early and went to the 1st tee hut to sign in Where we was greeted by friendly staff who informed us of local rules and how to navigate the course as it was our first time playing there.
The course is a 9 hole but plays very well as An 18 as tee position are changed second time around and makes every hole feel different. Fairways are well maintained greens are also pretty decent. There are a few bunkers and water on the course which makes it interesting.
There are a lot of dog legged holes but they all give you something to think about and the rewards are good if your brave enough to take on the corners but beware the trees protecting the corners are lethal if you go in.
All in all I was very very impressed with this course and I highly recommend you to give it ago as it will give golfers of all standards a challenging round which will be enjoyed and for the price this place is an absolute bargain.
Fairly decent attempt at making it an 18 hole course
On arrival it is not really clear where to go so you end up walking round the building, i say building as there is a gym, kids nursery, changing rooms for the pitches and a bar inside. The bar is where you book in.
The course was fairly straight forward and starts with an easy par 5 to get you settled in. The course was fairly boggy but don't hold that against them due to it being winter. there are 6 holes on one side of the course with the last 3 on the other, which can be beneficial if you end up behind a group larger than yours, as providing behind is clear you can play the 1st 6, then play the 10th-15th, then cross over to the other 3 as there's a bit of a walk between the 6th green and the 7th tee.
The course layout is fairly easy but there a few occasions where thinking ahead is beneficial rather than throwing a driver at the shot.
The staff are friendly but the (golf club) bar upstairs is let down by the noise coming from the gym which is on the same floor and right outside. Food is basic but tasted great.
For the price: I don't think i'll be back.
Great little course for the Summer!
Played this course in January after finding it online. The course is relatively difficult with several blind holes and some undulating and sloped fairways meaning you have to be accurate.
The condition of the greens as good, however the fairways were VERY heavy, claggy and thick with mud and worm casts, This did make the round hard work and less enjoyable.
That said this would be a great course in the summer months I think. Also the staff in the clubhouse were really friendly and helpful and we got a worm welcome as new players. I will certainly play here again.
very tricky 9/18 hole course but I like the way you tee off from two different tee locations needs to put in some more bunkers to make this more challenging will definitely play again
Best 9 hole in North Kent.
After playing a few 9 hole courses, we decided to try Corinthian and we're glad we did. The course is a 9 hole with 2 tee off points at each hole, turning it into an 18 hole course. There was no hold up in Play, only our wayward shots (sorry to the cows on the 15th). The staff were polite and very helpful. The course is very testing and very clean, no tees at the tee points, no rubbish or cigarette ends. The greens do need a little attention but were ok and again very testing. All in all a great 4 hours or so in the blazing sun (take suncream) and an enjoyable walk in god's countryside, can't wait to return again soon.
Terrific Value
Nice course, muddy but not surprising considering the amount of rain of late.
The location of the tee boxes on the second time round made all the difference, however the speed of play on a busy day will be interesting....
Certainly play again at this price!
Great condition, good course.
Booked the course thru' on-line provider, four ball at £7 each plus £1 booking fee, so we were quids in already!
Nine hole course with very seperate & distinct sets of tees for the back nine (so it doesn't seem so much just like nine).
Course was in excllent condition - fairways and greens as good as any I'd say - no mud around, even with the rain that we had recently, so good drainage.
Staff extremely good and friendly/helpful.
Couple of pints afterwards at club prices in the bar - so very cheap.
All round a great day.
Only slight critcism was leaves on the fourth green; this green is surrounded by trees so on our windy autumn day this wasn't surprising! But, it's the first time I've nearly lost a ball on a green! Also made putting on it slightly tricky (to say the least)!
Overall I'd recommend it as a very good course, get out to Fawkham in Kent and try it! You won't be disappointed.
Great Value here.
What a great challenge this course represents, it may only be a nine hole corse, but with different tee boxes for the second nine this give the hole a different aspect every time. The course is in really good condition overall, but think the greens and tee boxes need attention. Having said that the greens are quite true and fast. The course is not over busy so you can enjoy your round without the hassle of having another group bearing down on you. Once the word gets out though it will get busy very quickly given the greenfees are so good. All in all great value for money all round.
