Warm welcome, great greens and forgiving fairways
We booked for the location but found a course that we would be very happy to return to.
Starting with a very warm welcome and finishing with lunch overlooking the 18th.
Between times, the course was not very long but that made it playable for mid-handicappers, with wide fairways, true running greens, and well prepared bunkers.
Hidden Gem
Was looking for a place to play to accommodate friends from Birmingham and London. The golf club was surprise to us in terms of its value for money and friendliness of staff. The only issue was the 9th hole was shortened due to course maintenance but otherwise cannot complain and will look to visit again in the future.
10/10
Jack
Beautiful, well kept course very tight on the front 9 and pace of play was very slow
But incredible course would highly recommend
First time , But will definitely be Back !!!!
Arrived at the Amazing Feldon valley and made our way down to the pro shop , the man behind the counter / Golf Pro .. ( I think his name was Tom )was extremely helpful and pointed us in the right direction. We only had a few hours of daylight so showed us the holes that ended back at the clubhouse . The place looked amazing , the lodges and bar , restaurant and amenities were superb We were expecting a very wet walk after all the rain but the course had held up extremely well most tee’s were understandably off mat’s which was completely fine. Overall an excellent experience , will be back again there very soon!!
Father and son day out
Great day in the sunshine, course in great condition for the time of year. Friendly staff. The greens were excellent. Would love to become a member if I could.
Friendly with good greens
Booked on a whim as a solo golfer on a post super bowl day off. Ended up playing with another solo golfer who was a member: a very friendly bloke. Great greens given the time of year. Course quite straightforward which rewards accuracy over length off the tee. Decent value for 23 quid.
Feldon Valley was a pleasure to play
Excellent conditions including great greens. A very warm welcome from the helpful professional and bar staff.
Well maintained course good facilities
Played this morning whilst visiting the area. Staff friendly and explained the layout of the course along with a couple of tips. Overall the course was in good condition and the greens ran quick and true. Didn’t stay for a drink but the facilities looked good and the locker rooms were modern & clean. Would visit again.
Nice course with great facilities and friendly staff
The course is not the longest or hardest course you’ll ever play but it provides a fair test for all ability’s.
It has plenty of interesting holes and is well maintained.
The staff in the pro-shop are very friendly and knowledgeable.
It has good practice facilities.
The clubhouse is first class.
A wonderful restaurant in a lovely setting.
Highly recommend
Good value, nice facilities and a well maintained course
I’ve played the course a few times in the last 12 months but it was in the best condition this time, greens were true, course was well kept and it was challenging enough. Was very reasonably priced for the facilities, staff were very welcoming and then we had a drink and a bite to eat afterwards in the very nice clubhouse/restaurant where we sat on the balcony overlooking the 18th. Definitely worth a visit
Improvements
Played here today nice course longer than it looks staff really friendly there are a couple of things I would do to improve the layout
First number the T pegs
Second put different colour flags on the front nine and back nine maybe splash out and put numbers on the flags
After saying that will be going back
Graham and Paul’s visit
Very enjoyable round on a day you would probably prefer to spend in front of a real fire. The only disappointment was a three ball jumped on the course in front of us at the tenth. It was an already busy back nine which delayed the back 5 holes.
Would visit again as the course is a great challenge with an awful lot to think about.
Excellent modern facility
Course was in good condition after recent heavy rain. Interesting layout and great new clubhouse and restaurant.
