Great course not to taxing for older players.Greens/fairways in great condition as always. I would recomend to golfers of all levels.
Obviously a 9 hole course but enough variations in tee locations and excellent value for money.
Perhaps alot of holes that are quite similar in length and layout.
Excellent nine hole course
Good location friendly staff good golf course and reasonable bar prices.
Nice course !! Was held up by a ladies 4 ball which was frustrating so we decided to walk to the 2nd tee to get in front as the didn’t allow us to play through!!
Apart from that I would play here again
This was my first round at AoM. Really enjoyed it, pleasant course, well maintained
A lot of money for a 9 hole course
I never think it is clear enough on golf now that a course is in fact only 9 holes. When we arrived we were disappointed to see that it was.
The chap in the pro shop was excellent, very friendly and welcoming. And the course was in good condition.
However, it feels cramped, a lot of players wandering onto each other’s fairways, slowing down the game, and at £25 I feel there are better 18 hole courses available in Manchester for similar money. Also the attitude of some of the other players let the day down, not friendly at all, but l suppose that isn’t the courses fault.
Wouldn’t rush to play again for this amount of money, but got us out and playing.
Ashton on Mersey
Chose this course as short and flat and was playing a four ball with two pensioners.Friendly staff and members.Course was in great condition espeicially the greens.
Got a Hot Deal for £9 at 9.20am and probably wouldn`t chose to play here for normal price only because more interesting courses available locally.
We took a chance with the weather and unfortunately the course had to be closed as we approached the 9th hole! In spite of that, we really enjoyed the course and the staff were generous enough to offer us a free ticket to play again. It is not a long course but it is quite narrow and very well maintained.
Had a nice time playing 18 here. The bookings were a bit cramped together though and had some elderley gents in front of me who didn't want to let me through for some reason. The last hole is epic,. Decent course to check out
Great value round
The 9 hole course was very interesting and quite challenging to play. The only thing that let it down badly on the day was the condition of the greens. They had been recently hollow tyned and was heavily sanded. This made putting farcical. This was not mention by the pro in the shop or on the website. Notwithstanding the greens, the experience of playing the course was very enjoyable and I would certainly play it again when the greens are back to normal.
Played this course many times never had any cause for complaint. Only played 16 this time as 2 holes were closed for maintainance (has to be done sometime)
Not to difficult to play, suits my age groupe
Brill price on GNow Will play again.
Every thing about this course is first class, highly recommend, Especially members, great day out.
Brilliant 9 holer.
Played last Friday at 3pm, staff were great with me as it was my first time playing, course layout was great and maintained well. Only issiue was some of the greens were a bit sandy but we've had a bad summer so can be excused, they were still
In good condition. Going round twice was great with the tee changes. Overall a great club and course will be playing regularly here.
Testing but good. Little hurdles all round like bunker layout and streams oh and lots of trees most of which I now know intimately. A really enjoyable course.
