Superb day
Great course in fantastic condition, a great challenge to all levels of golfer ,members very friendly, club house also great and very friendly staff, would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
Water logged
They should do themselves a favour and close the course for winter.
I wasn’t told about winter greens, I had to carry my clubs but only found out once I’d packed my trolley.
Greens were far to soft and wet and boggy on the fairways and around the greens.
This is a great course, but it isn’t a winter recommendation.
Sprng into action!
Having experienced weeks of heavy rain we have been waiting for a chance to dust off the sticks and get some fresh air.
The last few days have been really fine and warm , nay, hot with light winds. The course has dried out very well although we had to use a mat on fairways and there were a few temporary greens.
Because this was the first outing of the season some aspects of the game were rusty. However a few good long straight
drives in the second nine made further games a must.
