Worsley Golf Club

Lovely course. Decent practice facilities but unfortunately I picked a busy day to get a round in.

Great course maybe more next hole signs and better sand in bunkers. A member joined us and was friendly

Course is in great shape for time of year,greens lightening fast,couldn't fault it played a few courses in past month but non as good as this,for 40 pounds it's the best value also,all staff are friendly enough,from pro shop to groundsman and members also,so if you get the chance you must play it.

Was very disappointed to find out when I got there that we had to play off matts on fairways and rough. If I would of been told before booking I would have chose elsewhere.

Front 9 greens were in very poor condition considering the time of year.

Course was in very good condition, greens ran fair and true, very busy at the time of play, but competed 18 in four hours for a three ball.

Credit to the green staff and helped them out by repairing numerous pitch marks, which should have been done by players

Enjoyed our round. Greens were quick and true. Fairways were well cut and some lovely holes on the course.

Expectations were high as when I previously played here I remember it being good. But was pretty disappointed. Not worth £30. £15 at most

Club house not open for breakfast. Course well kept. greens good if a bit bobbly. The holes are a bit ‘Samish’. Good game though - thank you.

After watching a golf mates review on YouTube we decided to play Worsley golf club. On a cold Sunday morning we teed off at 8 15. The course played very long due to the temperature and wet fairways. All greens were open and were remarkably true for the time of year. We will definitely be returning in the warmer weather. Would highly recommend this course as one to add to the last.

On a decent day it would be a lovely course but due to the amount of rain that had come down it wasn't enjoyable. I understand the weather is out of their control but the price should be reflected in the condition of the course. £30 to walk through mud. It should have been closed. Will return on a better day

Played worsley golf course for the first time today and will definitely be back upon arrival went in the pro shop and confirmed my time and the n straight onto the first time had a four ball in front of me but very steady play . Got talking to the four ball behind me and they where all member and very friendly and helpful cant fault the course for time of year the greens where soft and a bit slow but has to be expected for this time of year the fairways where spectacular. Will be back soon

Good job I had my sat nav as this course isn't actually in Worsley so be careful when setting off to play.

Greens lack character or imagination. The most difficult aspect of the course are the trees which line each of the repeatable and forgettable fairways and punish anything that's not remotely straight.

Pace of play is slower than I'd expect at a members club but it may have been a particularly busy Sunday.

Clubhouse was OK, Average food but fairly cheap so no complaints there.

First impression was car park full, foot golf on site as well.

Course was ok but greens were poor. Needs a bit more care and attention

Great course with some lengthy Par 4’s, weather conditions made it touch but course stood up well. Leaves start to drop made it difficult to find stray shots, greens were immaculate although slow due to the persistent rain
