Was a nice course and good value for money. Greens I assume have been recently aerated. And very wet still.

Sanded and punched greens uncut fairways and tee boxes all for £28. Awful condition and overpriced

Hi GolfNow. Rang course Sunday morning to check status after heavy rain overnight was advised that course was closed for the day and we couldn't play. Please can I have voucher or credits to re-book the 3ball at same course in coming months. Many Thanks, Jeremy

Wasn’t expecting course to be 100% after heavy weekend rain but really disappointed with the playing conditions. All fairways very wet most greens had been hollow tiened. Allowing for the conditions we played ok but to take 5 hrs for a round on a Monday is unacceptable mainly due to the older members who weren’t going to let our 3 ball play through. A nicely layed out course but we won’t be rushing back any time soon.

Stuck behind 4 of the most ignorant slow players ever,nothing about the day was good ,front 9 took 2hrs 15 mins had to miss out 3 holes on the back 9. We were a 2 ball and were waiting on the tee for an eternity on each hole. Complained about the pace of the 4 ball in the club shop and asked if they were members or guests ,was told they didn't know ( obviously entitled members then )have played the course many times before but will think twice before booking again .

Unplayable front 9 should not have been open and awful value for money. Grass was 4 inches long on the fairway

Lovely course, nice layout. Very friendly staff in the pro shop and course was in great condition, considering the time of year and the state of many courses at the time of year. (January)

Only 8 holes of course were open when played, however had paid for full 18. Nithing on website

So boggy even on the 9 holes that were open, probably best to keep clear until the warm dry weather returns before thinking of playing this again

Wouldn’t go back due to staff (Marshall) being rude, conditions of the course were nearly unplayable due to heavy rain which meant the course was water logged, this meant time to play the round on the whole was longer for us and the team ahead of us.. the Marshall behind us who was playing on his day off was rude and very aggressive.

Beautiful course, lots of character..

Only thing that could improve it is proper signage displaying where the next hole is, very hard to navigate the course unless your a member with vast experience..

Very disappointed to pay full price yet the greens had clearly been treated recently and not cut for a couple of days at least. Putting was hit and hope as the grass was too long. Bunkers had not been raked after previous days light rain so were hard and heavy.

Given that our tee time was after 09:30 on a dry day, we would have expected the green keepers to have been out ahead of us. As it was, we met the first green keeper tending to a green, on the 13th, close to lunch time. So much potential for a great round, but the greens let then down.

Friendly help staff. Other golfers really friendly. Course in lovely condition. Bar lively set up

For what I paid to play me and my mate was very impressed with everything the course had to offer.

After some rain over night the course was slightly flooded but after an hour or so the greens were dry.

We had a really good time

Will play again soon
