Course is in really good condition and great value for money, absolutely no complaints about staff, pace of play or any other members on the course!

The course was in superb condition especially the greens, it’s a challenging course and not expensive.

Took my dad to his first 18th hole golf course since many years and he loved it. I played well and had a four players in front of us but that did not cause an issue as we were playing causes due to my dad first game. Fairways amazing, greens great even after the bad weather a day before, the rough not helpful(expected) but luckily I knew that so played safe when needed and told my dad best places to play the ball. All in all a great round of golf and a lovely course. Will definitely be there again soon.

Played this course years ago and was lovely, this time around, greens and fairways looked like they get cut once a month and most flags on the greens were replaced with bunker rakes, gone very downhill

I can't recommend this course high enough. Set in beautiful country surroundings, Great Lever and Farnworth is amazing value for money, only £22 for midweek visitors and around £30 for the weekenders. A par 69, mostly flat so easy enough to walk round a full 18, but some lovely challenging holes. The clubhouse and bar is very welcoming and overlooks the picturesque par 3 18th. The course is located less than 5 mins from junction 4 of the M61 motorway.

Really great course that makes you think almost all the way round! The course was really well maintained and the greens were all in great condition.

We unfortunately booked our round just before a club championship which meant we were a little rushed, and unfortunately sandwiched between the club tournament and some slow play in front of us. But that certainly won’t be deterring us from playing this one again!

For someone working on their game this gets the right balance of difficulty and forgiveness. It’s good value and well kept and great views of the Pennines beyond

At £20 a round I was expecting a few issues but how wrong was I! The fairways in great condition, the medium rough was playable, the deep rough, well let's just say when you are in there is hard to get out of. The greens were immaculate and played fast. All in all worth every penny.

Course was in very nice condition, greens were in good nick although looks like a couple were recovering well after such a dry spring, fairways are very good.

Staff and members very friendly.

Need to keep an eye on some visitors, saw two playing with one set of clubs.

We booked last minute and the staff were very friendly. The course was in really good nic considering the dry weather we've had recently. Plenty of people on for a late tee time, but the pace was very good.

We will be coming back.

For my first ever time being on a course, was absolutely amazing really enjoyed myself and loved every hole, so much so I booked again for the weekend. I would highly recommend this course to friends and family

Very nice, well looked after course. The weather was great. The only issue was no rubbish bins or ball cleaner on the tees. But that does not take anything away from this fantastic course.
