Great Lever & Farnworth Golf Club

So looking forward to playing this course again since I’ve moved away, drove over 30 miles to play it, I do wish I knew the state of the course before I set off!!

Fairways now mowed daisies everywhere,

Rough ridiculous, so long even slightly off the fairways in some places more that knee deep no excuses get it mowed! Slower the pace of play down with everyone looking for balls!!

Tee boxes not numbers, no bins, markings etc

Then to top it off clubhouse shut on a bank holiday

Very disappointed

Great value for money, I'm still fairly new to golf and today was the second time I visited here and I find it a good course. Its not to challenging and I like the fact the first hole is a par 3. First time I went they explained the course lay out and gave us a map which was great. This course is great for all players, it has a few par 3s,and some long holes.

course in good condition nice fairways tee areas average bit uneven bunkers mostly unplayable no sand , but advised not to play them. The greens are in poor condition bumpy and not watered rock hard .love playing this course though .thanks for a great day .

Lovely little course, just needs a bit of tlc in places. Not a long course but some challenging holes. Will be lovely to play in the summer. Me and my Son will definitely be back.

Course a bit muddy little problem of jkids trying to nick your ball on a few holes

Good layout of the course. Some really challenging holes. Busy as expected with golf courses re opening. Some of the greens are a in poor condition and there were some kids playing football on the bottom holes but that’s not the golf course fault

Would definitely play again, perhaps when quieter. Too many booked on. Took 3 and a bit hours to play 10 holes due to speed of groups in front. Not the club's fault but meant we couldn't complete the round.

Course condition was excellent considering the weather we have just. Just a shame we couldn't play the whole course.

Lovely course quite demanding if you are not on the fairways course layout leaves a bit to be desired recently changed a few hole so a bit confusing we had to ask fellow player where some of the T boxes where but over all great course will come definitely come here again very enjoyable overall

Wasn’t impressed with the course, young lads running on the greens trying to steal balls. Couldn’t tell the difference between the rough and fairways at some points ! Greens where poor in areas. Unfortunately I won’t return to play this course Until the summer.

The average round of golf costs around £13-£26 depending on the tee off time and day! I have played here now on various days throughout the week and variable tee off times! And this great little golf course comes in at the lower end of £12 a round less then 70p per hole! And for the layout and accessibility it’s easily one of my favourite when you put everything into consideration!! One last thing, the course difficulty is aimed at all golfers so anybody will have a great day here
