Great Lever & Farnworth Golf Club

Fantastic course, best greens I have played all year, it was hard going playing on the hottest day on record but the course made it worth the effort. The course condition was fantastic and there are some fantastic golf holes on the course and at £14 it was a fantastic deal, can’t wait to play it again

Lovely course, greens and fairways are in great condition, we got there early for a quick pint and spoke to a few members, all very friendly, we got advised to make sure we stayed out of the rough, but as we found out most of the rough was knee height, a few lost balls but still would definitely recommend

Really nice course and really well kept, will definitely keep coming back.

I was disappointed with the layout. It is difficult to find several holes. Signage is poor for some holes. One or two holes are too adjacent to others. Even parts of the fairways are corrugated in places and the hard surface causes shots to deviate so far that I lost 6 balls

Course in tip top condition, fairways and greens lovely, if I had any negatives all that would be is the rough is to deep not only no chance of finding your ball but unplayable if you did, get that sorted out and I would say fantastic

Bit of confusion with the gps on my watch, so had to use a laser for distancing, had to cross a busy road twice during the round. Other the that the course was in very good condition and the staff were friendly, greens pretty fast, good day had.

You couldn't ask for a course to be in better condition for start of April.

Greens true, tee boxes tidy,fairway & semi rough well manicured, signage clearly marked.

Course not overly busy later in the day, so no hold ups.

Will definitely be returning.

This is the first time we have played here. We really enjoyed the round, excellent value for money. We would definitely play here again. Thankyou to all the members and staff to whom we spoke - everyone was very friendly.

I used to be a member here years ago. Haven’t played it for a long time. I’ve really enjoyed it. The fairways were really good and the greens, even though they had been sanded were running fast and true. Paid £17 for the round which I thought was good value.the clubhouse had some great beers on and the staff were very friendly
