Because there is no tee times for members. Twice I have arrived and there has been a que of 7 groups just waiting to tee off the first hole. Something needs to change to stop the ques

Fantastic course, one we enjoy playing thoroughly. However a few select members let the course down today, telling us that our tee time “didn’t matter”. 4 4 balls in front of us, a 2 ball. The solution given by the pro was to tee off on either the 4th, 10th or 15th instead. We decided to tee off the 10th. When we reached the 1st we still ended up in a queue waiting for 20 minutes for 3 groups to tee off Infront of us.

Shame as it sullied what was a great course, in fantastic condition for end of November.

Nice welcome in the pro shop. Haven't played here for a while, but got to say the course was in great condition. The greens were superb, had no hold ups. Only gripe was some of the flags on the back nine were very hard to see (blue flags hard to see when in shadow). Really looking forward to playing here again.

Course is in great condition as always , lovely mature course , new addition holes work well with original lay out.

Unfortunately the course wasn't in good condition. Whilst we recognised it was a bank holiday, so greenkeepers may not have worked in a couple of days, some of the tees were in really poor condition (resembling rough on at least one tee). The greens also were extremely slow, but again recognised they must have just been hollow-tined and heavily sanded. Still, not good for £40 greenfee. Elsewhere, the bunkers, fairways etc just didn't look good. Also, we booked a tee time of 10am but clearly this was not realistic as about 15 groups of members rocked up to play a texas scramble comp at the same time. In fairness, the pro was able to start us off the 15th, but it was all a bit of a squeeze. Two of our group hadn't played before and won't be returning for a good while if ever. Disappointing and certainly poor value for £40

We played this course for the first time and what a pleasant surprise! A stunning course in the city with enough hazards and undulating greens to make it a challenging but enjoyable round of golf

Well worth the £40. It's a little oasis hidden in what is pretty much the city. Fairways were lush, greens ran consistently even on the higher holes. Staff very nice, and the course just looks great some nice memorial benches dotted about. Some of the holes are abit hard to find the right tee box and three holes on my Garmin came up as something different, looks like they are or have been changing the layout but I might just need to update my GPS.

Nice variety of long and short holes making it a scoreable course but one you need to think about with some strategic bunkers.

Will be coming back for sure.

The course was well manicured and a joy to play well worth a visit

Course was closed and there was no option to advise GOlf Now it was closed on the cancellation tab so as it stands I am out of pocket £62 pound .

I've been exploring local courses for potential membership and this is at the top of my list, lots of variations of holes to keep you interested and the greens in fantastic condition for this time of year.

Very good course in excellent condition for time of year. Will be going back in summer. Could do with a few more signs on new layout around holes 11 to 13 as we ended up on 14th tee, thanks to the members who help us back on track.

Booked last minute and picked a local course not expecting to get 18 in as tee off 5 pm disappointed to be paired up but surprised at speed of play with no delay's Pro gave good advice on course and friendly

Course in great condition greens true but challenging bunkers all good and well raked

Overall great experience will go again

The course is lovely and the greens well looked after. Got lost a couple of times it would help if there were a few more signs telling you where the next hole is. Couldn’t play the 11th or 13th due to these being new holes in development but what I saw of them they look like they will be great to play once finished, will definitely play this course again once the work is all finished
