Hatchford Brook Golf Course

The lads in front of us were taking 25 minutes a hole and me n my mate had to leave on the 7th hole because it was getting very frustrating and people from 3 tee times before us was always catching us up every tee box it was a very poor experience

Its okay for a cheap knock but greens are very poor and the course needs work.

Greens awful course really needs some work

Used to be a member here glad I cancelled it

Played this course on and off over 35 years, however on this occasion the greens were abysmal if we had known they were in this condition we would have played elsewhere.

Played Hatchford many times around the Covid era and always thought it was a lovely, well maintained course. Been back for the first in a few years and can’t believe how much it’s gone down hill, such a shame. Very disappointing.

dont bother taking your putter there is hardly any grass on the greens,there are huge cracks on some greens that make it imposdsible to putt

Wasn’t worth the price

Greens are not great at all and ended up walking off after 13 holes just because of how slow the play was, waiting about 10 minutes for been able to tee off. Some kids playing football on the one tee box and then a family having a day out watching the planes and playing football on another tee box which was very off putting. However for £11 I can’t be too disappointed just makes me mad how people think it is acceptable.

Unfortunately I tagged onto my cousins tee time and didn't book through golfnow..... they charged me £33.50 for the privilege..... the fairways were fine ... as were the bunkers.... but the greens were absolutely horrendous!! Literally hardly any grass on them to call them greens.... many had huge cracks..... do not throw your money away here

I feel for the members of the club, you cannot seriously expect anyone to have a true score with the greens in that condition !! We gave up scoring

The greens are absolutely terrible, to the point where you can't actually play. Such a shame because the course has a great layout and is unique with the proximity to the airport but there a thing called water and if you don't water or even try to maintain the greens then what's the point. To charge £40 to play was absolutely criminal. Sadly its the last time we'll see this course, it needs a complete makeover.

Arrived 10 mins before tee time and checked in. Made it seem like a problem i’d booked through Golf Now but basically, they’d double booked. Told to ‘find a gap’ between the 3 x 4 balls that were waiting on 1st hole. When i asked about starting on 10 was told it was too busy. Started on 10 anyway and flew through it was so quiet. God knows how long i’d have waited if i started at 1. Fairways and borders were really good but the greens were brown and sandy

What a lovely afternoon we had playing the course. Apart from a few of the greens the course was fantastic and ideal for a mid to high handicapper as we both are. Great value for money and hardly saw another person as we went round. Challenging enough with plenty of hazards and overall 9/10. Playing again this weekend!!

Had a great round with my 10 year old, the club made him feel very welcome, as did the members, the staff are 5 star, been playing here 37 years and it has maintained the standard. Only gripe would be a couple of the greens.
