Boxing Day 2020
Most clubs in the area were closed due to wet weather, the course has held up really well with just a few wet areas around the aprons of greens and some green side rough.
Fairways were dry and the greens were in good condition, bouncy and slow for putting in places but that’s to be expected at this time of year.
Couldn’t complain about anything if truth the be told for a winters day of golf....apart from the price, £55 is steep but understandable during these times.
Very enjoyable.
Arden course
Trolley ban was in place on the day. The guys in the pro shop were very apologetic and leant us a carry back FOC.
Brillant Course
The Arden is one of the best courses in the area. In my opinion it is better than the Brabazon.
Challenging, super greens great layout and worth the money.
Queue jumpers and a bomb site
The course is clearly excellent however my round was spoiled by 2 x 4 balls jumping on at the 10th, i made the 18th in the dark. The fairways were spoilt by the number of un repaired divots. They looked like the somme unfortunately.
Lovely course
The course was in great conditions, had a few lovely holes on it and definitely worth the money
Good Game, Good Game
As Brucie used to say! Had a great round despite getting thrashed. Beautiful course and amazingly friendly staff.
5 hour round
The most backed-up course I have ever played. Sometimes 4-5 groups on one hole. Couldn’t even finish before it got dark. The course is nice but what’s the point? Taking a shot every ten minutes is just a joke.
Compete waste of money.
Arden course
Great value course to play on GolfNow. Only one disappointment which was cost of buggies ar £40 each
A grand day out.
Lovely track in perfect Nick for the time of year, greens quick and true, fairways and bunkers immaculate. Staff and fellow golfers helpful and friendly.Overall a fantastic days golfing.

Mick Jones
Superb course to play. In fantastic condition given the time of the year.
Expectations Met
We had a great round. The course was in excellent condition - especially the greens which were fast and true. The fairways were beautifully prepared. A real test of golf.
Arden
Course in good condition taking into account the weather, greens fairly long but understandable. Pace of play not bad at all starting just after 5.

Fabulous
Great course and great facilities, Just a shame the greens had been hallow timed the week previous week but still they weren't that bad!
Forest of Arden course
Would definitely play again. Very good layout, great condition good fun.
Poor staff
Asked if we could play later than our time as we arrived just in time for our time. Man in pro shop said not for just over an hour as course busy. We started on our time , 1.45 and after 2 holes could see that there was no one behind us at all. It was raining at this point so waited the rain out a little on the 3rd tee whereby the marshal appeared and after a frosty hello immediately told us that we couldn't wait under the trees forever as there were people behind us! Clearly the pro shop and starter had no idea what on earth was happening as we only saw people on the 3rd as we were going to the 7th tee. Very poor service for a £55 per person green fee. Again, for the money the course wasn't great. Rough was too long with a lot of freshly mown grass on top of it and a lot of poor lies around the greens, particularly on the front 9. On the plus side the tees, fairways and greens were excellent.
Wounderful
Played the Arden course for my Dad's 70th and what a treat this was!
We had to wait for a while as we unfortunately the rain came down on us heavily whilst we were on the 3rd, it did waterlog the course, and the greens did end up with massive streams of water especially on the 3rd/6th green complex.
However by the time the rain cleared and got into the back 9 we were treated to a wonderful layout, the greens kept beautiful and true and still quick even with all the rain.
Overall its a wonderful golf course with some brilliant holes, kept in beautiful condition, well worth the it even though we were drenched!
But I will be back!
Stunning
Simply stunning. Tee to green. Immaculate. Greens were lightening. Ran true. A solid test. Credit to all involved.
great course........... but i would not like to be a member here
Play every year here for the past 5 or 6 years in a corporate event. Really nice course, always in very good condition, some super holes and my favourite 18th / closing hole anywhere ( 190 yrd par 3 with a carry of 160 yrds over water, always plenty of people watching the green from the spike bar) 9th is also a really great hole. For a member the biggest problem must be getting on to play a round, course was full all day with either corporate or society groups.
