Hidden gem in fantastic condition
I haven’t played this course in over 10yrs. It was in fantastic condition, excellent fairways and true good paced greens. It’s not the longest course but there are some tight holes and good strategic thinking required at times. This is a really well manicured mature course and a real credit to the greens staff.
A real gem...well worth a re-visit
Played this course late Saturday afternoon...cost just £10 for as many holes as we wanted after 4pm. We easily got the 18 in,. This is a beautiful 9 hole course. If you like birdlife, magnificent trees, and tranquility this is going to be right up your street. The course is is superb nick, and seems to have been improved so much since I last played it... probably over 10 years ago. Although the clubhouse wasn't doing food, or even a roll, they were fine for us to nip to Meriden to the local chippy, before returning to resume our 18 at the 10th. What this 9 hole course does that others don't is it has different tees when playing the second nine, so often par 3's become par 4's, and par 5's become par 4's. Very clever layout indeed. Just make sure you play off the correct tee for each 9!!
