Excellent and interesting course
Played this course at the end of July after a lot of wet weather and was pleasantly surprised. Good condition challenging and interesting. The greens were a little quirky and wooly but that was only to be expected given the weather. The course seemed to drain reasonably well with little casual water around. I would definitely recommend.
Great course
Fantastic course which was in great condition, the greens rolled very well and enjoyed the variation of the narrow fairways of the parkland front 9 and more open tee shots on the back 9. Would recommend and will play again. Great value for money with the afternoon green fees.

Fabulous course, love the wildlife. Always a great course to play.
Great course
Some water on surface but drainage generally good for the weather conditions leading to game.
This course will be fantastic in the summer with great layout and challenge.
Course should of been closed.
Played there on Saturday 1st. Was like playing on a pig farm. Course clearly has drainage issues and should of been closed. Very dissapointing. The course layout is brilliant but conditions made it very difficult and somewhat not enjoyable.

A lovely course and had a really good day as always there.
Very poor!
The course was in really poor condition, many of the holes were very short and it did not represent value for money.
The greens were ok to be fair and the lady from the bar was really friendly and offered great service. Unfortunately I think we played at a bad time but the condition of the course did not warrant the cost at all.
Amazing
The course was in absolutely immaculate condition, it has a great lay out and good flow to it. The greens were like putting on silk. Overall just perfect. Very highly recommend
Didn't dissapoint
First time at Hawkstone and although more than I normally pay , I was not disappointed. Great challenging course that unfortunately I didn't play that well and possible would approach the holes different next time. There are a lot of hidden water and ditch hazards that I seemed to find as wasnt aware if them. Would of been good to have a may of the hole .

Golf break
Just played hawkstone sunday championship monday, both courses fantastic from tee to green , greens very fast.bed breakfast evening meal and 2 rounds of golf all fantastic , will defo be back .evening meal deicious breakfast delicious,golf played in fantastic surroundings,beautiful setting . Courese very challenging ,but very enjoable. Makes you think about every shot from tee to green , driving , irons ,pitching and especially putting, just how it should be , "nobody said it was easy".
