Hawkstone Park Golf Club - Championship Course

Fabulous course, love the wildlife. Always a great course to play.

Some water on surface but drainage generally good for the weather conditions leading to game.

This course will be fantastic in the summer with great layout and challenge.

Played there on Saturday 1st. Was like playing on a pig farm. Course clearly has drainage issues and should of been closed. Very dissapointing. The course layout is brilliant but conditions made it very difficult and somewhat not enjoyable.

A lovely course and had a really good day as always there.

The course was in really poor condition, many of the holes were very short and it did not represent value for money.

The greens were ok to be fair and the lady from the bar was really friendly and offered great service. Unfortunately I think we played at a bad time but the condition of the course did not warrant the cost at all.

The course was in absolutely immaculate condition, it has a great lay out and good flow to it. The greens were like putting on silk. Overall just perfect. Very highly recommend

First time at Hawkstone and although more than I normally pay , I was not disappointed. Great challenging course that unfortunately I didn't play that well and possible would approach the holes different next time. There are a lot of hidden water and ditch hazards that I seemed to find as wasnt aware if them. Would of been good to have a may of the hole .

Just played hawkstone sunday championship monday, both courses fantastic from tee to green , greens very fast.bed breakfast evening meal and 2 rounds of golf all fantastic , will defo be back .evening meal deicious breakfast delicious,golf played in fantastic surroundings,beautiful setting . Courese very challenging ,but very enjoable. Makes you think about every shot from tee to green , driving , irons ,pitching and especially putting, just how it should be , "nobody said it was easy".

Good course, but I wouldn't pay the prices they are currently asking. I appreciate that they lost money during the pandemic, but £55 is too much at this present moment . People who aren't members of a club and are looking for casual bookings aren't going to pay these ridiculous prices.

I love the hawkstone complex, both courses are fantastic. I’ve played there a lot in the last 2-3 years and must stress how much I enjoy the place. The main reason for leaving this review was to complain about a particular day. Obviously courses are wet right now - it’s the nature of winter - but the championship course on the day we played it was unplayable and should not have been open. I felt sorry for the green keepers who were going to have to deal with the mess left by trolleys (surely a trolley ban at the very least was needed) and the inevitable divots being left by most golfers. This was just a poor call from management to leave the course open. I will return but be wary that when it’s wet - they clearly do not close when necessary.
