Hessle Golf Club

The course is in very good condition considering no rain.

The greens are in excellent condition very hard to read and very fast.

Would deffinatley play again.

Considering the hot summer we've had the course was in really good shape... In fact amazed how green it was. The green were lush green, very thick grass which made them abit slow compared to other course I've played over the summer. Alot of narrow fairways with plenty of trees to test the long hitter, plenty of dog legs and short par 5's. Well worth a visit....

Brilliant course and in great condition considering the heat!

We manage to play it on a hot deal and for 20 pound it’s brilliant! Great initiative by the club to allow those who normally couldn’t afford to play there a chance to get on everyday!

Booked Hessle through golfnow and on arrival we were told that all 18 greens were closed for maintenance.

There was no mention of this on their web site or any of there social media. I was told I couldn't have a refund not was I offered an alternative date to return.

I emailed the club to complain only to be told it's nothing to do with them!!!!!!

Absolutely shocking customer service.

As soon as we drove up past the practice facilities we new we were in for a nice game. Every hole was laid out well . Greens were just fantastic. Lots of slopes and the pins were put in very tricky spots. Best bunkers ive played in a while. Actually had a good bit of sand in them. The 16th is just wow/omg . Having played 33 holes before this hole it was all we needed lol. A long day. Would love to go back and play Hessle and for a £20 deal it was fabulous

Stunning course, immaculately kept. Considering the dry weather beautifully lush greens. Friendly in the shop. Couldn’t fault.

We managed to get a hot deal for £21 per player, but would after visiting yesterday would be more than happy to pay full price.

Friendly staff and members, course immaculate.

Fairways all perfect with fairway and 2 cuts of rough, greens very undulating but receptive and fair.

Some difficult off the tee shorts with heavily tree lined holes but I wouldn’t let that put you off, there’s no rough under the trees allowing you to find your ball and chip out each time.

Would 100% recommend and will definitely be back for sure.

What a stunning golf course !!... I've played golf all over the world and haven't played many better than this ... if they found another 600/700 yards I think this would be a qualifying venue (maybe it is already ?).... well defined and beautifully manicured with tricky greens ...tree lined fairways but at least you can find your ball as there's no crazy rough in amongst them and plenty of risk/reward tee shots ... the par 3 16th is the jewel in the crown ... 10/10 for me !!...

Being reasonably local to the area, I can't believe this is the first time I've played Hessle golf club. the course is in amazing condition, diamond cut fairways, quick but receptive greens and fantastic well maintained bunkers (which I managed to find more than one of!). We tee'd off in the dry and the rain arrived on the last 4 holes but this didn't dampen our spirits too much. This is an excellent course and whilst it may be a little more for a round here than some others you're definitely receiving value for money. It was immaculate, we had a great round and we'll be back.

Great course, facility’s, very friendly staff and other players. 5 ⭐️ for me. Look forward to returning

My first time at this course and WOW what a course.We got it a great price of £23.00 but I would be willing to pay full price after today's round.

Me and 3 friends had a 3:15 tee time .. we let a 2 ball play through at the 5th and had the course to ourselves after that.

The greens are the best I've played for some time and the rest of the course was in great condition.

Brought out the best in all four of us. Definitely will be playing here again without a doubt and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to play a testing and stunning course.
