Enjoyed the course and it was challenging at times (which is a good thing).
Great amenities and layout.
Lower course conditions rating due to perforated, heavily sanded greens this time and lots of goose muck on the course particularly first 9 holes or so around the lake.
Will return!

Friendly staff.
Pace of play was very slow, this is not the course’s fault but just arrogant players. Single ball stuck behind a 4 ball. Asked if I could play though but just ignored. Eventually I drove past them while the were looking for a ball and I got going.

Lack of info 11 holes open and Mat required
Course was in really poor condition and drainage failed to cope. Logged all over and only 11 holes open, wasn’t aware of this in advance and also winter may required but again wasn’t aware. No hot food served after either. Staff at pro shop was very nice and helpful but unfortunately doesn’t make up to the work needed both on the course and also transparency of what actually pay for.
Mixed feelings
First of all this is my first visit to Hindley Hall, on arrival the pro may me feel very welcome and explained everything that I needed to know.
The course was in excellent condition and the greens were fast. We ended up behind a 3 ball who were very slow causing pace of play to slow right down and bunch several groups behind up, this didn't help with the several par 3s on the front nine. Overall the course was nice, some tight holes so plotting you're way round is key.
We came off and decided to use the clubhouse for some lunch, this kind of spoilt our impressions of the place as we waited over an hour for food.
All on all I'd recommend Hindley Hall
Phenomenal course.
Course was challenging but incredibly enjoyable and in great condition, staff pro was helpful and friendly.

Good course but played 3/4 times and greens have always been not the best
