Haigh Woodland Park - Balcarres Course

Having played this course a few times with no issues, this time I was constantly being pushed through each hole by the group behind me. I think more control is required on the tee timings, as I think players are just turning up without paying and chancing their luck. Waiting 30 mins for the first tee after your scheduled time indicates this.

Can't believe this coarse is cheaper than my local 9 hole, in overall good condition, bunkers could do with a good turnover, but other than that good condition. Great layout, all holes completely diffrent. Greens were good, deffo going back and at that price may become regualr.

Course in very good condition and very fair price.

Quoreslow pace of play but that was, due to 3 groups of 4 in front of us.

Nets would be good to be able to warmup.

Over all well worth the money.

Had lovely round, fairways good condition, roughs very rough 🫣🤣 greens in good condition. few challenging holes and few holes where not sign posted so got little lost but all good in end it’s like every new course you go to. Some lovely views and would definitely be back again 👍👍👍

The course is suitable for High Handicappers

Wide open fairways, Large greens that are also a challenge.

Quite a hilly course if you intended to walk, we hired a golf cart.

Exceptional value for money at the time, great flow of play but it was midweek.

Otherwise its a great course that has some amazing value tee times ...... if you are a high handicapper (like me) or a beginner its ideal........

Great Value course. In the main in good condition apart from the bunker. Some areas slightly scruffy due to the weather. But for the price it's outstanding value. Well thought out holes with spectacular views. Make sure you ask for the parking ticket before you leave.

Used to play this course years ago only to watch it fall into a bad state so stopped playing it ! Played it 18 month ang and wasn’t that impressed although it was in a better state played it again on Friday and was very impressed with the overall condition considering the weather we have had this year couldn’t really find fault with it although if I was to nit pick the tee boxes could do with a bit of attention but having said that they are probably no worse than Duxbury and they are charging £35 as opposed to £19 to play on the same day and Duxbury is in no better shape either will definitely play again

Enjoyed playing here very busy course i teed off at 7.04 and a few out in front of me. The tee boxes aren't the best and are in shabby condition but the course itself is enjoyable to play and some tough holes on the course. Would recommend it but just dont turn up expecting to play Augusta and you will enjoy it and a decent price any course under £20 is great
