Hinksey Heights Golf Club is a pay and play and Members Club with bar, restaurant and spike bar open all day to all visitors. Carvery on Sundays. Catering by arrangement for society, company and special days. Parties and celebrations also catered for.
Open air driving range and practice area.
Oxford's newest course overlooking the Thames Valley and the 'Dreaming Spires'. Has a heathland and links feel with variable breezes and some water adding to the challenge.

The course has good views
Long course good greens. Could do with some money spent on paths
Wasn’t aware we were playing 9 hole loop
First of all we are 1st time golfers. We thought we were paying for 18 holes but on arrival we were told it was a sporadic 9 hole loop as they were working on course. The holes we did play were quite challenging but we enjoyed them.
Just a pity the whole course wasn’t available to play.
I’m sure when it is all up and running it is a nice course but possibly a bit challenging for beginners.
Lovely little course
Played a 9 hole loop due to the condition but was very enjoyable. The staff were friendly with a nice clubhouse and bar. Greens in good condition despite of the recent bad wether. Would definitely play again.
Much improved
I hadn't played here for years and wasn't expecting too much. However, I was very pleasantly surprised - there are some really interesting and testing holes. It was very wet underfoot but still definitely playable. Will certainly return.
Worth a visit
Greens were lovely and some tricky holes. We will be coming back in the future for sure
Hinksey Heights.about a couple of years ago I come to the course and I could tell they were improving the course needed and it is looking and playing fantastic a year on17.09.21definitely recommend. plenty of sand in the bunkers putting service playing well and the Fairways are good and the layout set up well. bar,drinks and food at the 19th indoor and outside too. lots of practising areas and a driving range.
Much better than expected
Played here many years ago and not impressed.
Course much improved, generally in good condition. Greens very quick and very tricky. Would definitely play again. Very good value for money.
Pretty Average course
After over 5 years I was really hoping this course had improved since I last played. It's a real shame as it's in such a great setting. The greens are quite tricky to hit your approach into and have lots of tiers. The main issue is that they don't hold so a rewarding approach shot rolls off the back almost every time. It was very slow on the day as well. I think I might give it another 5 years.
Great ‘challenging’ course
A fantastic course for the decent amateur who needs a wide fairway and loves some beautiful scenery.

The.course is interesting demanding and in good condition
